The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 7 Ending Explained: The latest episode is titled ‘Love Affair’ and is written by Vanessa Rojas and directed by Megan Griffiths. The runtime for the episode is under 60 minutes. A lot of things happened in the episode, good things mostly, except that ending which has all of us apprehensive about the finale.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is created by author Jenny Han, whose novel series the show is based on. It has music by Zachary Dawes and cinematography by J.B. Smith. The production companies involved in the making of the show include Sunswept Entertainment, Jenny Kissed Me, Big Red Bus, wiip and Amazon Studios. 

The main cast for the series features Lola Tung as Isabel Conklin aka Belly alongside Jackie Chung as Laurel Park, Rachel Blanchard as Susannah Fisher, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher, Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin, Alfredo, Narciso as Cleveland Castillo, Colin Ferguson as John Conklin and Tom Everett Scott as Adam Fisher. We also have David Iacono as Cam, Summer Madison as Nicole, Rain Spencer as Taylor, Lilah Pate as Gigi, Kelsey Rose Healey as Dara and Jocelyn Shelfo as Marisa. Actors Kyra Sedgwick as Julia and Elsie Fisher as Skye are going to be a part of the recurring cast in the upcoming season.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 7 Ending Explained

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 has hinted for a while now that Belly and Jeremiah have all the sparks needed and the only thing stopping them from being together is actually Belly’s association with Conrad. In the seventh episode, Belly makes up her mind but, it takes her some time before announcing that decision.

When Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad travel to the latter’s college for the exam, we find Jeremiah and Belly roaming the campus of her potential future college together as Conrad is away giving his exams. As they do this, Belly actually starts to visualize her future with Jeremiah during this time which gives her the push to announce her decision to him.

In the parking lot, after the tour, Belly lets Jeremiah know that she wants to be with him. Although Jeremiah had expressed his reservations about how does not want to be hurt by Belly again, Belyl assures him that it is him she wants to be with. The two end up kissing. However, Conrad arrives post his exam right during the time the two share a kiss. He coughs and makes his presence felt as Belly and Jeremiah break away from the kiss. And now, we have to wait for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 finale to know the aftermath of this awkward situation.
