The Staircase Episode 4 Twitter Reactions on Toni Collette, Colin Firth and More

The Staircase Episode 4 is now out and, it has wrapped up the first segment of the Michael Peterson trial leaving fans with too many views and thoughts. This latest true-crime drama miniseries is created by The Devil All The Time’s Antonio Campos and, is based on the 2004 true-crime docuseries of the same name created by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade. The series features a stunning cast that includes Colin Firth as Michael Peterson and Toni Collette as Kathleen Peterson along with Michael Stuhlbarg, Dane DeHaan, Olivia DeJonge, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sophie Turner, Odessa Young, Tim Guinee, Parker Posey, Juliette Binoche, Vincent Vermignon as Jean-Xavier and others.

The show has been receiving great reviews and praises and, Twitter is flooding with various reactions and memes. People are impressed by the cast, narrative and, the angle from which this true crime story is being approached. After the latest episode, one of the users on Twitter wrote, “Toni Collette bodies every role she receives. The re-enactment of how Michael Peterson’s wife died on HBO’s “The Staircase” was scary.” Given how Collette is reenacting to the different versions of Kathleen Peterson’s death, it is, in fact, commendable.

Meanwhile, this also seems to be the month of HBO Max and true crime dramas as one of the users tweeted: “hbo max is on an absolute tear. right now they are showing new eps of Hacks, The Staircase, We Own This City, Barry, Made for Love — all phenomenal shows. The Flight Attendant is a tier below but still good”. We agree wholeheartedly. Let us have a look at some more of these reactions.
