The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 5 and 6
The last two episodes of The Sex Lives of College Girls weren’t as fascinating as one would like them to be. It was full of heartbreaks and moments of utter chaos. We saw Whitney and Canaan break up in the final moments of the fourth episode which left a lot of us miserable because we were really hoping for Whitney to have a stable and age-appropriate relationship this season. Leighton also went through her share of drama with getting Chlamydia and almost getting her chances into getting into her mother’s sorority ruined. Ultimately, though, we get the sweet silver lining of both the girls making it into the house.
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episodes 5 and 6 dedicates itself to developing the love or could be lust, lives of Whitney and Leighton. With Whitney excelling in her biochem class and facing some unintentional racism, she still has to deal with her annoying, patriarchal classmate Aaron Fuller. However, could this be an enemies-to-lovers trope where the narrative plays its charm? As for Leighton, who has been a sexual disease transmitter for a while, a new face on the campus, identical to hers, sweeps her off her feet- a rare phenomenon.
Bela and Eric’s hook-up sessions have been going pretty well and, it almost felt like there could be something more. But, the competitive spirit in the two just keeps them at square one. However, with The Cattalun and Foxy now going against one another, the two’s relationship finds a new element to it with the entry of a few new characters- jealousy and crooked competition.

Fan favourite Kimberely has clearly taken a whole four episodes to settle on the fact that she will indeed sell her eggs for money, a much-needed step to survive in Essex. And, curiously, it is always Jackson who crosses Kimberely’s way in the fifth and sixth episodes, leading the duo to develop a few new angles to their friendship.
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 5 and 6: Final Thoughts
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 5 and 6 resonate with the saying ‘love is in the air’ but, with so much happening in the girls’ lives it is hard to just stick to love and not question if it could be lust or even ownership. Especially, with Bela’s trajectory in these episodes, it is hard to understand where her head’s at and where she is deciding to go. The same goes for Whitney, whose interest in a certain Mr. Fuller only takes full form after she looks at his biceps, for a show like this one, it is a pretty shallow move.
As expected, Leighton is finally showing her more humane side by not only being a constant support for Kimberely in the episodes but, also being smitten- something extremely new for her character. Kimberely, on the other hand, continues to be a cute heart and, fans are hopeful about where this small-town girl’s love life leads.
