The Privilege: Everything About Netflix’s German Supernatural Thriller

The Privilege aka Das Privileg or Die Auserwählten is a German teen horror movie by Netflix. The film is said to be chilling, ominous, scary and suspenseful. After the success of the hit German series Dark, this film also seems to deal with similar genre tactics and glorifies the teens against the world trope.

The movie is a directorial collaboration of Felix Fuchssteiner and Katharina Schöde, who are also the writers of the movie along with Sebastian Niemann and Eckhard Vollmar. The film will remind you of Hollywood teen horror movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Amityville: The Awakening, where the teenagers being the main characters are pitted against the supernatural.
