The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 4 Ending Explained

Grogu’s back story of escaping Order 66 on Coruscant with the help of the Jedi Kelleran forms most of the story of The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 4 alongside the search for the younglings, Ragnar being kidnapped and all the Mandalorians looking for him.

We see that it is Bo-Katan who is able to rescue Ragnar after she locates the flying creature that took Ragnar away. She is a part of the covert and learns their ways during this search, specifically how to eat with her helmet on and prevent others from seeing her face. When the group finds Ragnar, it is on the verge of being fed to the creature’s young. Bo-Katan takes the lead in subduing the beast and rescuing Ragnar.

The covert on the search returns home victorious and Ragnar is reunited with his family. Bo-Katan’s courage and victory earn her a special spot as The Armorer congratulates her and tells her that saving Ragnar is possibly the highest honour and task a Mandalorian can do. Bo-Katan also brings the creature’s child with her back, so the covert can train it to be their own.

The Armorer repairs Bo-Katan’s armour which has suffered badly. She is also given a badge that has a symbol that combines a night owl and a Mythosaur. This prompts Bo-Katan to finally reveal to The Armorer that she saw a real Mysthosaur when she visited the Living Waters on Mandalore. To everyone’s surprise, The Armorer dismisses the revelation.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 4 ends with Bo-Katan looking at the newly presented symbol and she continues to stare right into it.
