The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Episode 12 Review- Rushed Story

The previous episode of Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei Suru ended with big revelations. However, the below-average writing might have made those moments just like any other average ones. We see the true identity of “Disaster Rogue”, although, keeping in mind the naming of the other characters, this title is pretty terrible. Just as Varvatos had decided to launch a full-scale attack to take down the “Demon King”, Ard’s time to decide to choose Disaster Rouge’s side or not is up. With them conversing about what is going to happen next, we arrive at The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 12.

This episode of The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody begins with Ginny and Ireena lamenting their uselessness in battle scenarios, which is surprisingly true. Both the characters have been heavily underutilized throughout the show, playing just the roles of eye candies or damsels in distress. They are strong in certain scenes and worse than the unnamed army soldiers in the others. This hot and cold approach toward them undermines the overarching plot of the entire series. It feels like the writers are just treating them as pawns, switching them up and down as needed.

The plot in Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei Suru Episode 12 unfolds in an extremely predictable manner. Ard and his nemesis are locked in a battle that goes in a full-Saiyan mode but is not as impactful as expected, with the battle not even lasting very long. Disaster Rogue seems to be sincere about his actions and wishes. His heartfelt reminiscing about Ard’s past with Lydia is emotional due to the added background music present.

We have sudden story progress in The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 12. And this story is rushed, generic, and extremely predictable. The fights never get any better. The important conversations are skipped. Even the harem appeal is underutilized. Characters get too whiny and too cocky too frequently. A relatively good plot ends as a cherry on the top of the mess this series has been so far.

Prognosis
With poor writing and animation, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 12 is a mediocre ending to a mediocre anime.
