The plot of the romance anime follows a flimsy high school boy named Komura who has a deep and prolonged crush on his classmate, Ai Mie. The two have never talked before, even though they sit next to each other in class. However, things soon start to change after Ai forgets to wear her glasses to school and starts relying on Komura for school activities.

In the fourth episode, Mei forgets her glasses again, and he has difficulty in buying coffee. However, she manages to pick one, but she buys a black coffee which she hates and offers it to Kamura. But he refuses to take it since drinking out of the same can would mean indirectly kissing. However, she again forgets her glasses at school and hurts herself during sports period; however, Komura is present to help her anyways. The next day they both travel to buy a new frame for Mei but Komura has a hard time choosing since she looks good in everything. Mei ended up buying the same frame as before.
