South superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna (Brahmastra, Mass) is back with another action-packed jam The Ghost. Centred around an ex-Interpol officer who emerges from the dead, to safeguard the interest of his family. The film is written and directed by Praveen Sattaru (PSV Garuda Vega, Imsai Arasi) and produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath Marar.
The star cast of the film includes Sonal Chauhan as Priya, Gul Panag as Anupama Naidu, Anikha Surendran as Aditi Nair, Manish Chaudhri as Lala, Ravi Verma as Pankaj Nair, Srikanth Aiyengar as Harish, Keith Dallison as Curtis Wallen, Simmi Ghoshal as Sikha and Vaishnavi Ganatra as Hrithi. Moreover, the film has a running time of two hours and eighteen minutes.

The Ghost trailer starts off with an introduction to Nagarjuna’s character Vikram Naidu. A fearsome officer with an exceptional track record of eliminating the bad guys, who went missing during a case involving a personal angle. Ever since then, the family of the Interpol officer remained unaware of his existence.
When a former criminal goon tries to settle scores with Vikram’s family, the officer emerges from the dead and vows to protect his kin at all costs. The officer returns with the same reputation of dealing with the bad guys, through his own twisted methods. He is successful in shifting the arc of danger from his family and turning the entire heat against him.
Vikram’s long hiatus eventually made his enemies even stronger for a fightback. However, the will and determination of the straightforward officer are enough to scare off the gangsters and show them who’s the real boss. The classic Akkineni Nagarjuna movie represents all the core elements of a south action film, with a usual mass hero dynamic.
Notably, Nagarjuna was last seen in the blockbuster movie Brahmastra in a pivotal role. His performance in the film received a positive response, and the film was successful in collecting more than 400 crores at the domestic box office.
