The Future Of is a highly awaited upcoming science & nature documentary series on Netflix. The series will explore how technology will affect the basic aspects of our lives in the future, which is not far. It is created in collaboration with Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps entertainment, Vox Media Studios and The Verge. With the involvement of the team from 21 Laps, we can expect some of the eye-catching visuals in the series.
The Future Of will premiere on Netflix in two batches of six episodes. The first six will be about The Future Of Dogs, Dating, Houseplants, Gaming, Space vacations and Cheeseburgers. Meanwhile, the following six episodes will explore the topics of Death, Fashion, Skyscrapers, Sports, Health and Headphones.

The Future Of Cast
The series will be narrated by Jurnee Smollett, an American actress who began her career as a child actress appearing on television sitcoms including On Our Own, and Full House. Each episode will feature various scientists who are experts on the respective topic.

The Future Of Plot/Synopsis
Netflix describes the series as – With the help of industry experts, this innovative docuseries examines new and emerging technological trends to imagine revolutionary possibilities. The series is set to answer our questions like, what if we could look into the future to see how every aspect of our daily lives, from raising pets and house plants to what we eat and how we date will be impacted by technology?
In the series, the scientists are set to do that exactly, as they say – We can, and should, expect more from the future than the dystopia promised in current science fiction. The Future Of will reveal surprising and personal predictions about the rest of our lives and the lives of generations to come. With our increasing co-dependent relationship with technology, we should embrace ourselves to find out what lies in the future.
The Future Of Release Date and Trailer
The Docuseries is scheduled to be released on Netflix on 21 June with the first six episodes and the remaining six episodes on 28 June. You can check out the trailer below.
