The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 3: The Reykjavik Ice Sculpture Festival Is Lovely This Time of Year
In The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 3, Cassie is finally able to crack Megan’s emoji code which loosely translates to asking Cassie to fly to Reykjavik to deliver the key she received from Megan in the first episode. Cassie tip-toes to catch a flight to Iceland, not before she runs into Annie and Grace, both of these people she lies to about her real purpose and destination. She grabs a jump seat from Carol (through blackmail, of course!) but, meets Shane on the flight, unfortunately, to whom she lies too about going to Iceland.
Back at home, Marco shows up in the morning to take Cassie out for breakfast which prompts Annie to give her a call. Cassie requests Annie to manage the situation with Marco until she gets back. In Iceland, Cassie is taken aback by the fact that everyone in the country is a blonde. She visits places she has been with Megan, in search of her but, is unsuccessful. We also notice Shane following Cassie rather discreetly.
Max takes Annie to meet his family, where Annie is visibly uncomfortable during a lot of things. Meanwhile, Gabrielle and Esteban are seen keeping an eye on them at Max’s house. As for Cassie’s search in Iceland, Shane interrupts her and they both sit at a restaurant eating svid during which Shane makes vague accusations at Cassie for not being truthful about what she is doing in Iceland. However, before the conversation can move further, Cassie’s credit card gets declined at the restaurant and she receives a message showing someone using her credit card at a hardware store. Soon enough Cassie receives a call from Annie about a View-Master lead she found through Max’s dad’s car.
As Cassie goes on a full-blown crisis tailspin Annie tries to calm her down not before a fire alarm sets Cassie reeling back into her subconscious where she is tempted to drink. Cassie calms herself down and rushes out of her room to control her urge. However, in the lobby, she has another scene when she notices Shane following her and, asking her not to harbour a fugitive. Cassie shouts at Shane and, definitively answers that she is not in Iceland for Megan but, to enjoy life and leaves.
Cassie gets to an alcoholic anonymous, where she steams off. Coincidentally, another person from New York named Jimmy also happened to be there to share his story when he mentions a woman with a Long Island accent he met in Iceland. Cassie decides that it must be Megan and, asks Jimmy where she can find her. By the end of The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 3, Cassie finds Megan but, Megan is shocked to see Cassie there which she thinks will get them both killed.
As for Max and Annie, things don’t end well for them in the third episode either as they both have a fight about Annie’s behaviour at Max’s parents’ house. When Annie enters Cassie’s house to talk to Max, she sees he’s been attacked and, Annie is soon after attacked too by Esteban and Gabrielle.
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 4: Blue Sincerely Reunion
Well, as much as Megan is happy to see Cassie the emoji message actually meant going to Long Island to drop the key to Megan’s friend, Cherry. But, Cassie misinterpreted that. Megan explains her dangerous situation with the North Koreans and, how there is a bounty on her head. As for the rest, there is a man named Hawk visiting the bar where she works, in search of her, so he can kill her. Her only support during this tough time is Charlie, who we saw in the last episode and, how the two danced. Charlie is explained to have her own black market thing going.
Soon enough Hawk enters the bar but before he can be poisoned Cassie’s phone rings from behind the walls making Hawk check where he finds Megan and Cassie in panic. But, before he is able to take his shot, Miranda (from season 1) appears and kills him. Turns out Cassie had in fact texted Miranda in the previous episode under the alias of Katherine on her phone. But killing Hawk only gets the group in deeper trouble as we see them being chased by other North Korean agents.
As for Annie and Max, the two blondes invading Cassie’s house plan to hurt the two even more if they disclose Cassie’s location, this is irrespective of Annie insisting that Cassie is on a flight away. The torture seems to take hold when one of them finds a lead for Cassie in Iceland. Turns out the psychotic couple are after Megan and, not Cassie. As for the person impersonating Cassie, we see only a bloody knife in her hand. Presumably, she has murdered yet again.
Cassie, Megan, Charlie and Miranda escape their chasers with the help of a personal helicopter. Megan bids goodbye to Charlie and goes on to travel with Cassie and Miranda but, Charlie gives her a necklace, some bluefin bucks and poison mushrooms as the last token of love. Shane, whereas, is on the scene to investigate the crime Miranda committed and, sends out leads that Megan and Cassie are travelling together in a plane to LA. Miranda finds her way out of helping Cassie further but, not before she hands Cassie a little gift of safety equipment.
On landing in LA, Cassie watches the news about two dead bodies in Echo Park which she assumes is dropped by the woman impersonating her. She puts Megan at her sponsor, Brenda’s house for one night to stay. Cassie meets Max and Annie at a restaurant and, gets to know the entire scenario. However, with the double murder at the lake, Cassie decides to go to the CIA as things are piling up one after the other. The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 4 ends with Cassie finding a drunk Benjamin at the CIA office and ending up blowing up her perfect life by having sex with him.
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 3 & 4: Final Thoughts
Well, this season of The Flight Attendant just got more interesting! With Miranda’s solid entry and, Cassie finally losing her stability, looks like we are heading for some spicy and complicated episodes in the future. The Megan storyline has always been unimpressive to me, so her addition in this episode did really nothing much apart from bringing in our iconic Miranda. Apart from that Cassie’s impersonator needs much more focus than shots of her hair and jacket, for instance, the actual killing would be badass to witness, right? As for Max and Annie, I hope their relationship plays out well, because we know Cassie’s wouldn’t as of now.Instagram & Facebook to keep yourself updated with the latest news and reviews.
