The Fallout coming out on HBO Max soon premiered at South by Southwest on March 17, 2021. Its opening received great praise from critics- the direction, the cinematography and even the background score (developed by Finneas O’Connell). The film which is now all set to come out on the Warner Bros. Picture streaming platform deserves its own set of introductions. What is the premise of the movie?

The film revolves around the life of high schooler Vada. We see our protagonist navigate through the emotional fallout she experiences when her school becomes point zero for a mass shooting. Ever since this particular incident, Vada changes the way she views her relationship with her family, friends and the rest of the world. The high school drama is set against the coming-of-age drama genre.

Who comprises the cast of the movie?

Our protagonist Vada Cavell is played by Jenna Ortega, who we have seen on screen since she was a child actor and, most recently, in Scream 5. The other cast members include Maddie Ziegler, Niles Fitch, Will Ropp, Lumi Pollack, John Ortiz, Julie Bowen, Shailene Woodley, Christine Horn, Austin Zajur and Yindra Zayas.
