The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 14 Recap Contains Spoilers

An Imperial leader and some stormtroopers are taking a few prisoners away in a transport ship. We finally meet Echo, who is working with Rex and Fireball. They attack the ship to rescue the prisoners and want to know where they have been taken. One of the prisoners includes Howzer, the Clone Captain who worked with Ryloth. The Imperial leaders tell the stormtroopers to erase the data bank.

Echo and others rescue Howzer and they all return to Coruscant. Howler tells Senator Chuchi and Echo about the clones getting transported to some unknown world and disappearing. He tells them that their ship is coming from Balmorra. Echo finds some encrypted data on the ship and says that only Tech can help to understand what it is.

In The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 14, we meet Wrecker, who’s imprisoned. Doctor Hemlock tells Wrecker that he will give him a clean slate despite killing an Imperial officer if he tells them where the Clone Force 99 is. Hemlock wants to capture Omega. Crosshair refuses to help. So he uses an interrogator droid to find out the information.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 14 Still 1

After Doctor Hemlock uses the droid and leaves the room, Crosshair takes a gun and shoots the troopers. He threatens Emerie to release him and takes her access card. She tells him there’s no escape, but Crosshair stuns her anyway. Crosshair sends a transmission: ‘Plan 88-The Seeker you have to hide they are after’. But some toxic releases make Crosshair unconscious.

Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and Omega are still at Pabu. Tech is teaching Omega how to fly the ship, Marauder. They all are also waiting for Echo’s arrival. Omega is happy to see Echo after a long time. Echo tells Tech about the encrypted data and whatever happened at the ship.

Doctor Hemlock tells Grand Moff Tarkin about the ship attack and the data being lost. Tarkin is worried about the stolen data that will compromise Hemlock’s location. At Pabu, Tech decodes the data and tells others that the Imperial transport that Echo hijacked was assigned to the Advanced Science Division. It is an undercover operation, with no records of the location and its purpose.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 14 Still 2

Tech tells them that Dr Royce Hemlock is the chief scientist in charge of the operation. He is an officer expelled from the Republic science corps due to unauthorised and unorthodox experiments. He tells them that one of the prisoned clones is Crosshair. He tells them about the transmission ‘Plan 88, The Seeker’. Tech believes he is trying to warn them about the threat, but Hunter thinks it might be a trap, like last time.

At the facility, Dr Hemlock asks Crosshair if he wants to reconsider his offer. Hemlock tells Crosshair to help him get Omega, and he will get his freedom. Crosshair doesn’t respond, so Hemlock tells Emerie to increase his injection dose and tortures him.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 14 Review: What’s Next

Crosshair has completely turned against the Empire. He is okay with all the torture but refuses to give out any information regarding the Clone Force 99. Hunter, Tech, Echo, Wrecker and Omega know Dr Hemlock and Crosshair’s warning message. But they’re refusing to trust Crosshair again. But chances are that in the next episode, we might see the Clone Force 99 reunite and fight Hemlock and some Imperial troopers.
