That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 6 Review and Recap – New Enemies?

Yes, we’re still not over the meeting phase of this anime and are stuck in discussion after discussion. This episode again started off within the meeting room of Rimuru, where we witnessed yet another situation report. But as all the secrets about who is coming to attack the Jura Tempest federation are out of the bag, hopefully, this is the last main meeting that Rimuru will have with his people.
It begins with Diablo understanding and accepting his faults and admitting that he shouldn’t have sent Reyhiem as his envoy. Hence, he wishes to take full blame for the upcoming onslaught. But as a kind and benevolent leader, Rimuru quickly assures him that mistakes can happen and he should not take it to his heart. Rimuru also refuses to let Shion handle this mess and requests Diablo to again come up with a plan to counter the crisis.

But he’s not the only one with a massive duty on his shoulders. To understand more about the Western holy church, Shuna advises to seek guidance from Adelmann, the high priest of luminism who now worships Rimuru. He gives a great deal of information about the church and how they do things. Plus, he also tells Rimuru to be cautious of Hinata and her followers. According to Adelmann, they are very powerful, and it will be extremely difficult for anyone to deal with them.
We also get to know that Rimuru will not be attacked from just one side, as Edward, the new king of Falmuth, is also planning to go against Rimuru. He is gathering forces and troops in large numbers, which will definitely be problematic to control. But the most challenging part will be to engage in a battle without actually killing the enemies like Rimuru wants. If he wanted an all-out carnage, he and Veldora could easily take down any number of soldiers, but that is not something that Rimuru wants which is why he needs to carefully plan out everything.

However, just when you think that we have finally seen all the players of this upcoming battle, we get introduced to a different villain who is actually pulling the strings from the shadows. Their objective is to deal with both Hinata and Rimuru at the same time.
Verdict
Today’s episode was again full of information and planning. I really do hope that we see something other than detailed discussions that are limited to Rimuru’s conference room. We desperately need some action, and it is high time that we get to see some fight. Too much plotting has already been done, now, we must see the results.
