That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 17 Recap
This episode featured the final meeting of the Jura Tempest Federation’s leaders before the Founder’s Festival. Rimuru introduced Mjöllmile to the group, announcing plans to appoint him as the financial manager if the festival goes well. Mjöllmile then outlined the festival’s schedule, detailing events and logistics for each day.
The festival will kick off with foreign dignitaries, merchants, and adventurers arriving from across the globe. The plan includes treating the bodyguards of these dignitaries to free food, which is expected to greatly increase their goodwill. A grand banquet will also be held for the nobility, featuring high-quality Tempest cuisine. The festival will officially begin with a keynote speech by Rimuru himself.
Numerous events will follow, but the highlight is the opening of the dungeon on the third day. However, there’s a challenge—the forest at the dungeon’s lowest level has grown rapidly and needs to be cleared. Additionally, Rimuru needs skilled dungeon masters to manage each level.
When considering who could handle the forest, Ranga suggests the fox spirit he’s been raising. Rimuru names this new monster Kumara and decides to follow Treyni and Shuna’s recommendations for the dungeon masters.
In the latter part of the episode, we meet a new character, Masayuki, an otherworlder who has been transported to this world. Masayuki has been given the title of hero, along with a powerful cheat skill, and is incredibly lucky, with events around him always turning out in his favour.

In this episode, we will see Rimuru meeting with the very lucky hero, Masayuki. Masayuki should be open to having a chat with Rimuru without causing any trouble, as we have seen that he is in actuality a normal guy. Rimuru should also be preparing for the much-awaited festival.
