This episode was immensely satisfying, showcasing Rimuru in top form. It begins with Rimuru uncovering the sinister plans of the Seven Day Clergy and confronting them head-on. Diablo reveals that the Clergy were responsible for Reyhiem’s death, and Rimuru presents this evidence to expose their misdeeds. Unfazed, the Clergy declare their intent to kill every demon, including Hinata.

This episode stands out for its intense, all-out action. The Seven Day Clergy face off against Benimaru, Souei, and Shion, with Shion’s attacks proving surprisingly powerful. However, the Clergy unleashes a devastating ultimate move, prompting Rimuru to intervene.

Meanwhile, Diablo combats three Clergy members with ease, securing an important agreement for King Edward to appoint Youm as his successor. Diablo’s display of power suggests he might be stronger than some Demon Lords, marking him as Rimuru’s most formidable follower.

Towards the end, Luminous arrives to manage the escalating situation. She excels in her intervention, empathizing with Hinata, who reflects on her initial arrival in the Isekai world, providing valuable background information on her.

The battles are over and all the conflicts have calmed down which is why we are back again with an episode that relies heavily on conversation rather than fights. This episode begins with Damrada having a conversation with Granbell about their failed plan. They are pretty shocked by the result of the battle and agree that Diablo is someone whom they did not account for, as a difficult enemy. Here Damrada also informs that he will not be going against Rimuru anymore and will let Granbell do whatever he wants.

On the other hand, Rimuru is seen in his favorite conference room with others attending and discussing the future of their respective nations. In the beginning, the Jura Tempest federation was not looked upon as a legitimate nation by the holy empire Lubelius. But now that Luminous and Hinata both accept their mistakes, they are willing to let go of their animosity and start a new friendship. In this meeting, they discussed many things that mostly revolved around nation-building and how they could repay Rimuru for his generosity.

They finally decide that they will spread the word that the monsters of the Jura Tempest Federation are not at all villainous but are extremely friendly. They will also sign a treaty that agrees to friendship amongst other very important things.

From today’s episode, we again see how good of a businessman and leader Rimuru is, who thinks about his nation first rather than himself. Many times there have been situations where Rimuru could have taken credit for something he has done, but he chose not to because of keeping up amicable relations. He truly is a softy at heart and his enemies are aware of this.

Verdict

At this moment there might not be any more problems for him but Yuuki will not sit idle as he is definitely going to plan something sinister soon.

I like today’s episode, but it was again pretty mundane and back to the segments where they just hold meetings. I’m not against it, but at the same time, the discussions go on for ages, and we do not really advance plotwise.
