Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 7 Recap
Hwa-ja comes with a knife to attack Nam-soon but the latter catches her hand just in time and throws her away. Hee-sik comes and tells Hwa-ja that he will have to arrest her but he finds that her ankle has been dislocated. Hence she is sent to the hospital where after recovery she’ll be charged. Geum-ju meets with Shi-o over a game of cards where she demands he grant her whatever she asks if she wins the game.
As expected she wins and asks him that she become his company’s financer and that she gets to know the success secret. Shi-o takes his time and thinks about her request. At Nam-in’s cafe, Joong-gan’s son, Geum-dong hacks and finds the deepfake scammers. Joong-gan and Jun-hee go to the apartment where he witnesses the woman thrashing the young men and carrying them on her back. At the police station, she demands the detective to wrap the case soon and give Jun-hee the 20 million won that he lost.

The detective then tells Joong-gan about the man’s death (who filed regarding the flipper car case) and lets her know that she’ll be called in for investigation. Nam-in doesn’t eat much, in fact, doesn’t eat at all after taking the suspicious pill. Meanwhile, Hee-sik’s superior Dong-suk somehow manages to control drinking water and returns to the station. There he just touches his lips with a drop of water and instantly feels the urge to consume the drug.
Shi-o learns about Nam-soon (Tsegtseg according to him) and her theft the previous night and he requests to meet her. Nam-soon takes this opportunity to get intel on the man. When she meets him, he falls for her boldness and her straightforward speech. They both exchange numbers. Hee-sik returns to the Doogo warehouse after learning about Nam-soon’s interaction with Shi-o. When Nam-soon and Hee-sik playfully run around, Shi-o looks at them from his office.

Nam-soon spends the night with her father at the theme park where they discuss her childhood. That night, Shi-o receives details about Geum-ju’s daughter and when he sees her picture, another person’s face is there (apparently a move done by Geum-ju to avoid Nam-soon’s face coming out in public). The same night, Geum-ju invites Hee-sik to a private party that she’s throwing with her family members.
The next evening at the party, Geum-ju asks Jun-hee and Hee-sik to introduce themselves to the other members which are Bong-go, Nam-in, Ms. Jeong, Geum-dong, Nam-soon, and Joong-gan. Jun-hee states his name and his occupation adding that he is dating Joong-gan. Next, Hee-sik says his name and his occupation and upon being asked about his relationship with Nam-soon, he doesn’t say that they’re friends but tells the crowd that they need each other as of now, making Nam-soon and Geum-ju happily grin.

Ms. Jeong pranks Bong-go that he is the father of the growing baby in her womb. Then they surprise him with a cake since it is his birthday. After this, the entire family gets drunk. Hee-sik and Nam-soon take their private time where he reveals about his late elder brother. Just when their eyes lock intensely, Jun-hee falls flat but thankfully Joong-gan carries him to their suite.
At the hot sauna, Bong-go tells Hee-sik that he should give birth to a daughter and continue the legacy of Nam-soon. Hee-sik feels lost for words as everyone seems to be constantly bombing him with Nam-soon and his relationship. He shyly exits the place and returns to work. The next day at the office, Shi-o calls Nam-soon and asks her to be one of his lobbyists to earn more money. He then takes her out to a secret spot.

Over there, Shi-o tests Nam-soon’s strength which ultimately exerts more power, making Joong-gan and Geum-ju feel the pain. The episode ends with Nam-soon struggling to keep up with the big slab of pressured stone while Geum-ju drives her bike to a place that we’re yet to know.
Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 7 Review
This episode shows that the mask is no longer the way through which the drug is carried but through a drink, probably the blue one. In this episode, one of the Doogo delivery staff dies in his truck and we learn previously through a conversation he had with Nam-soon that he has been feeling active after drinking a sports drink. So definitely Shi-o is implanting the drug into sports drinks. Coming to Nam-in, he is under a severe problem.
After taking the pill, he seems to be seeing food turn into stone and such, making it hard for him to eat. We are unsure whether Doogo has something to do with the pill or if this is completely another person’s business. Either way, in the upcoming episodes, Nam-in will become the main concern, and the family mates will dive in to help him out and stop the dangerous business/es.
