The Bad Batch Episode 6 recap contains some spoilers. So proceed ahead if you are okay with the same. The description of the episode on the streaming platform reads, ‘On a mission to acquire valuable asset, The Batch encounters smugglers after the same target.’ If you are wondering what it means, read on.
In the previous episode, The Bad Batch aka Clone Force 99 finds out the identity of the bounty hunter Fennec Shand who was trying to capture Omega. The men find out this information with the help of Cid after completing one of her deadly missions. At the end of episode 5, Cid hints at a future collaboration with Hunter and his team to carry out more missions. I thought it would be explored later in future, but it happens sooner than expected.
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 6, Wrecker and Echo help Omega hone her shooting skills. Then, Cid tells Hunter and his team that they have to carry out another critical mission for her. She wants the men to bring out some crucial data from the last tactical droid at the Decommissioning Facility on Corellia before it gets destroyed. Initially, Hunter hesitates but eventually gets ready to carry out the mission.
The Bad Batch lands on Corellia at the Decommissioning Facility to find the tactical droid. But they find out all of them are destroyed. The last one has its head separated from its remaining body part. While the men discreetly try to find the droid’s head, Omega keeps an eye to save them from any threat. That’s when she comes across a smuggler named Rafa. Rafa and Trace are also looking for the same tactical droid.
The Bad Batch and the smugglers have a dispute, and it also alerts the police droids at the facility. So there’s lots of gunshots and clashes. No one knows what’s there inside the memory of the tactical droid. But the tease, in the end, hinted at some connection with the Empire. So who gets their hands on the droid’s memory? Who are these smugglers? You’ll have to watch the episode for the same.
