Single’s Inferno Season 2 Review

There’s something just so incredibly comforting and salacious about watching Single’s Inferno that I can’t even big to understand what I feel during it. The series, which is essentially a dating reality series, should really teach Too Hot to Handle and similar shows how to do a ‘thrilling’ reality TV show without only boiling down to showcasing different body parts.

Out with its second season, and with only two episodes in, Single’s Inferno season 2 is already becoming an engaging watch that puts a naughty smile on your face and makes you wonder who might end up with whom. Single’s Inferno season 2 episode 1 introduces our new batch of singles who come to the island with stars in their eyes, looking forward to a more romantic future.

The conversations in the first and now the second season is extremely realistic and subtle. No one is talking about getting anyone’s pants on the first go. On the contrary, everyone is reserved, shy and extremely awkward, the way conversations should go among strangers. I enjoyed watching these interactions wherein there is shy flirting all around, but no one really works on it since, well, these are essentially strangers.

You want some questions to remain where you watch a reality TV show, some relatability. That’s why, personally, Single’s Inferno works. The contestants have to go on dates, but first, they have to take part in the silliest games to win the food and the private conversation. Single’s Inferno season 2 episode 2 features a hilarious and silly game that renders the most shocking winner. The editing is very confusing, but man, what a funny end result.

Either way, the conversations and side eyes that everyone gives each other are precious and will remind you of your own dating history. It’s obviously a bit different because this is what these people have come to the show for, but they are relatable people with acceptable and ordinary reactions. Thus, you feel drawn to their dates and their feelings.

In the end, episode 2 leaves us with two shocking couples going to Paradise, leaving the others to stew on their feelings. Of course, this will bring drama to the next episodes and honestly, you understand why. The way these relationships entangled with each other and ended will remind you of the fact that you never know what is on anyone’s mind and however much you try to understand it, it might not work in the same way.
