Rohit Shetty’s cop universe finds another addition with the release of Singham Again earlier today and fans are already sharing their views on the film on X (formerly known as Twitter). The reviews going up on X are certainly mixed, but it is the spoilers that are truly getting on the nerves of many. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
The film continues with characters from Shetty’s Cop Universe as the film brings Bajirao Singham’s journey to find his wife who has been kidnapped by a terrorist “Danger” Lanka. As he follows clues hidden within the Ramayana, he is once again accompanied by his fellow super cops who help him on his journey.
After a series of hit films within the Cop Universe, there is no doubt that the fans of this film held huge expectations from this film. In addition to this, the star cast has been another attraction for fans as they eagerly looked forward to seeing the new additions to the Cop Universe. Unfortunately, it seems like the movie has failed to hit the mark this time.
While the action sequence, thrilling chase, and big blasts bring back the essence of these films, the plot itself seems to be a bit scattered for movie lovers. The plot twists and patriotic themes remain but maybe the mythological streak was a little too much for the film to handle which leads to the disapproval of many. Additionally, while the film itself is creating mixed reactions within many; spoilers on social media are pushing people into opting out of watching it.
But on the brighter side, the side characters of the film seem to have film watchers satisfied with their performance. They are certainly taking over the spotlight and bringing up the satisfaction level of the audience. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have left the audience entertained with their return to the universe while Deepika Padukone stuns the audience with the portrayal of her character.
