Shooting Stars(별똥별) is a 2022 Korean Drama featuring Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Park So-jin and Lee Jung-shin. The series is directed by Lee Soo-hyun and runs for 16 episodes. Shooting Stars Episode 8 has a runtime of 62 minutes and is titled Rules Of Kissing.

In Shooting Stars Episode 8, Tae-sung sits in shock as Han-byul runs away after Tae-sung tells her that he likes her. Tae-sung’s words keep on ringing in her ears and she cannot believe what she heard. Tae-sung’s doorbell rings again and he thinks Han-byul has come back but it is actress Eun Si-woo. In his memories, Tae-sung calls her mom but doesn’t have any good memories of her.
Tae-sung gets a nightmare about Eun Si-woo but it is followed by a beautiful dream of Han-byul. Han-byul and Tae-sung went to the same college and also did a project together. Tae-sung had always liked Han-byul but never told her. The same goes for Han-byul but she shut herself off after she had to write an article about Tae-sung and his now ex-girlfriend.

Tae-sung wanted to tell his feelings again to Han-byul, clearly this time. However, he sees her talking with Lawyer Do and loses his confidence. Han-byul goes to Tae-sung’s shooting set against her desire and Tae-sung is shooting a kissing scene. After the scene, he stumbles onto Han-byul and tries to explain to her that the kissing scene is just his work, just like how she writes a PR article. His chance to confess to her is again taken away when a reporter calls Han-byul.
Tae-sung and Lawyer Do meet at the stairs when Do is coming back from work and Tae-sung is leaving for work. Lawyer Do calls Han-byul purposefully in front of Tae-sung and tells Han-byul that he will send her the address of the restaurant where they are supposed to have dinner. He does it to only make Tae-sung jealous and it works.
Shooting Stars Episode 8 Ending
Tae-sung wonders what wrong has he done that Han-byul hates him so much and the list comes out to be a big one. However, he realizes his biggest mistake when his ex-girlfriend runs into him on the set while he follows Han-byul. Han-byul sees her and leaves in her car. Tae-sung never dated that woman but he agreed to date her only because his rival actor had a crush on that actress.
Lawyer Do has been waiting for Han-byul at the restaurant but she doesn’t feel like going for dinner with him. Gi-ppeum pushes her to go but she suddenly receives a call and tells Gi-ppeum that she has to work on something. However, it was not about work but it was Tae-sung. He had sent her multiple texts and is also waiting for her somewhere. Han-byul was single until now but she has two men lined up for her now. She thinks hard and ends up going out. She visits Tae-sung and not Lawyer Do but we do not know if it is for work or personal matters.
Shooting Stars Episode 8 Review
In Shooting Stars Episode 8, Tae-sung has become gentler than before and has started realizing his mistakes. He was too late to realize his feelings for Han-byul but he behaved immaturely in the past which is now hindering his chances to date Han-byul.

The ending confused me and i was about to explode if she was going to visit the laywer and not Tae-Sung…
I was sure she won’t meet the lawyer but I was surprised when she actually went to see Tae-sung, I’m really curious to see what happens next.
