Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 24 Recap
The first business that makes an entry in the newest episode of Shark Tank India Season 3 episode 24 excites the Sharks – Matri, a device that tackles menstrual pain, and its founders give an interesting and informative pitch that rouses the curiosities of the panel. In the end, the founders ask for Rs 60 Lakhs for 4% equity of the company. The founders first discuss their past and why they took up this issue that has not been addressed by medical science for so long.

The founders then get into the technical side of the invention and discuss their IP and why no one can replicate it. After discussing whom they have given the product to test and their market strategy, all the Sharks start to give their deals. In the end, the founders go with Namita and Aman for Rs 60 Lakhs for 4% equity. Funnily enough, one of the founders ends up being cousins with Ranodeep Saha of Rare Planet from Season 1!
In the next segment, we meet the founders of Rubbabu, a toy company whose toys are made from biodegradable rubber foam. The founders mention that no one makes toys like theirs and that they also export their products worldwide. At the end of their pitch, they ask for Rs 2 Crore in exchange for 5% equity.
The Sharks are impressed with the soft toys and their packaging and the founders mention that they sell their products to China and that they are the only company that makes such toys, leaving the Sharks shocked! The founders discuss how the company came to be and their history, their equity split and their prices. However, the Sharks are concerned with their working capital and the CEO’s harsh demeanour and, in the end, the founders are left to go back empty-handed.

Gulabo Jaipur, a Jaipur-based clothing brand, are the next to come to the Tank, and they are a company that prides itself on its timeless designs from Jaipur. The founders talk about how they sell their products and the fact that celebrities have bought their products as well. They ask for Rs 90 Lakhs for 1% equity of the company.
After this, the Sharks discuss why they got into the business and they discuss the design of their products and what they specialise in. Anupam mentions that their products do not reflect the craftsmanship of Jaipur and Vineeta agrees with him. The former asks them whether they have any specialised collections or designs and the founders mention that they specialise in timeless clothes.
The Sharks question them further about their prices and their sales which impresses everyone and Anupam asks them why they are here since whatever they are asking from the Sharks won’t matter to them much considering their sales. The founders put forth that, in order to grow, they need their expertise. However, the Sharks are not impressed with the valuation put forth by the founders. In the end, none of the Sharks invest in the business, especially because of a lack of clarity and USP.
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 24 Review
The latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 3 has been a rollercoaster of innovations and emotions. While Matri won our hearts with its focused and thoughtful business, Rubbabu stole our hearts with its CEO’s will to make a difference at his age. Episode 24 has definitely been an inspirational journey for us to make something happen, especially if we put our minds and hearts into it and for the first time in a long time I was pulled into the episode not because of the expertise of the Sharks but due to the willpower and passion of the entrepreneurs.
Although two of the three pitchers failed to get funding this time, I could not help but hope for them to do better thanks to coming on national TV and that’s not something we are made to feel in every episode.
In the end, this has also been entertaining without a doubt, with a lot to learn and get inspiration from.
