Earlier, there were reports that the film will focus on the interesting mother-daughter trying to figure out a way in everything crazy happening in their lives. The story will be set in Mumbai with characters belonging to a conservating lower-middle-class background. In the promo, we read the warning – “Auraton Ka Apmaan Aapki Sehat Ke Liye Bahut Haanikaarak Ho Sakta Hai” (Disrespecting women will prove dangerous for you).

Along with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Darlings will also be produced by Alia Bhatt’s production house. Today, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress launched her production house called Eternal Sunshine Productions. Director Jasmeet K Reen will helm the film which teases us ‘Yeh comedy thodi dark hai‘ (this comedy is a little dark). The promo looks good and we wonder if SRK will have a cameo in it or not.
