Marvel’s Eternals released on November 5 worldwide in theatres. It stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani among others. The film has been grabbing headlines due to mixed, mostly negative reviews from critics. However, fans loved Chloé Zhao’s MCU debut and the characters she brought to life with her story.
Actor Gemma Chan plays ‘Sersi’ one of the main Eternals crucial to the story. Her character goes through a lot of emotional experiences throughout the film. With such a good response from the Marvel fandom, Gemma took to her Instagram page to thank the makers and audience. She also highlighted the point of representation in her heartwarming post.
Gemma Chan wrote, “Eternals is out now in theatres. Thank you for all your messages. Proud to be a part of this talented cast.. and to the young girls and boys and anyone around the world who might be seeing themselves represented in a film like this for the first time.. I see you.”
“We couldn’t have made this film without the craft, hard work and dedication of our incredible crew.. So much work goes on behind the scenes to make a movie like this possible and we’re lucky to get to work with the very best ????,” she added.

Earlier, in an interview with ‘Coup de Main Magazine’ magazine, the actor expressed her thoughts on being a part of the film. Gemma said, “I am very lucky in that this is my second time; I feel very fortunate. It was as much of a surprise to me, as to probably everyone else, but I feel very, very lucky to be part of this film, and amongst this incredible, talented cast.”
