See You in My 19th Life Episode 2 Recap

The latest episode picked up from where the last one ended. After Ji-eum’s abrupt proposal to date her, Seo-ah is left confused and puzzled. However, Ji-eum dismissed it by saying that she offered the idea because he was unsure of hiring her for the position. Thereafter Ji-eum is seen with Ae-kyung lamenting over what she said earlier and discussing the next plan of action to attain her objective.

On the other hand, a new character is introduced with the name of Cho-won, who was Ji-eum’s sister from her 18th life. It is revealed that Cho-won has developed deep feelings for Seo-ha, and she rejects any other man who tries to get close to her. The scene soon shifts to Seo-ha walking down a busy road when suddenly he gets a panic attack as the sound of cars triggered the traumatic accident. Luckily Ji-eum notices him and heads over to help him out.

Ji-eum grabs Seo-ha’s hand and starts running fast as though someone was chasing them. After they stop, she tells him that whenever she gets a panic attack, she runs, which helps her forget her fears. She additionally says that she learned it during her 10th life when in the midst of a war, she ran relentlessly and gained the motivation to live again. Seo-ha does not believe her and asks if she is a pathological liar, to which in turn, Ji-eum replies with a marriage proposal. Seo-ha is shocked and asks why did she propose out of the blue, to which she replies that it is a hint she gave him to figure out where they met before.

After Ji-eum’s consistent persistence, Seo-ah finally hires him for the job, but he does not assign him any tasks. Ji-eum also finally interacts with her sister for a brief moment. Meanwhile, Seo-ha tries to recall where did he meet Ji-eum before and finally realised that she was the little girl whom he came across during his high school days.

Seo-ha’s father is reluctant in letting him control the hotel and plans to replace him from the position soon. The next day Ji-eum receives a call from Seo-ha for some help. He asks her to drive him to a faraway area. Later she realised that it was the grave site of her past self. He pays respect to her and gets emotional as he remembers the past times spent with Ju-won.
