Revenant Episode 6 Recap
The episode starts with the wine bar staff finding the corpse of the influencer who was killed by San-young. Meanwhile, Hong-sae meets San-young at the bridge and asks her to seek him if she has really murdered people. She simply states about the ghost knowing he won’t believe and walks away. We also find that she has brought the dress and pampered herself using Hae-sang’s debit card. So who murdered the influencer?
Hae-sang visits his grandmother and asks about the urn piece that his mother buried. His grandmother yells at him and asks Kim Chi-won, to take him out. Kim Chi-won used to be the house’s gardener but he is currently the vice-president of Junghyeon capital. It is here we find that Woo-jin, the ghost who sticks with Hae-sang, is the son of Chi-won.
At home, San-young locks herself in her room after having an argument with her mother. She tapes her door to prevent the evil spirit from harming her. In the morning she finds the tapes removed and checks upon her mother, Gyeong-mun. She finds her lying on the bed and panics at first before realising that she is sleeping.

Hae-sang figures that his mother was the first person to have had all the cursed pieces before burying them all to stop the spirit. Just then, San-young visits him, returns his debit card, and also pays him back by using her grandmother’s inheritance. This makes Hae-sang wonder about how and why she took his card and whether she was recently possessed by the evil spirit.
At the police station, Hong-sae argues with Mun-chun and rejects searching for the suicide case’ lead. Hong-sae then finds his colleague’s case intriguing, that is the influencer’s death, since he was also at the crime scene. He believes that he has the lead and starts his investigation.
Meanwhile, San-young takes a break and decides to stay at her grandmother’s house. Over there, the evil spirit guides her to find unscanned pictures and she visits the local camera shop. Over there, she finds a picture of a painting and searches about it and finds the story of hungry ghosts.

Hae-sang on the other side goes to the spot where the influencer woman was murdered. Hong-sae meets him and asks him to leave the crime scene. Hae-sang warns him about the hungry ghosts and that they will keep killing people. A skeptical Hong-sae searches for similar cases and finds that Hae-sang was right about the similarities. So, Hong-sae visits Hae-sang to talk about it.
San-young also drops by to talk about what she found but when she hears about the hungry ghosts from Hae-sang, she remains quiet. Hong-sae states that the killer was among them at the wedding celebration. San-young realises that both the bride Yoonjung and Semi are missing in all the pictures. San-young rushes with Hae-sang to find Semi while Hong-sae leaves to find rational evidence as he didn’t believe in their ghost stories.
San-young shares with Hae-sang about how the evil spirit guided her to find about the hungry ghosts. The perplexed duo start their search for Semi as they believe she is the ghost that the evil spirit was guiding San-young to find. San-young catches Semi with Yoonjung at a restaurant and uses a mirror to see who the hungry ghost is. To her surprise it is Yoonjung.

Yoonjung goes to the ladies restroom and starts hunting a girl. Thankfully, San-young goes in and helps Yoonjung snap back into her senses. Yoonjung panics and runs away only to get hit by a car. She gets admitted to the hospital and remains stunned. Hae-sang decides that he will search for the evil spirit’s objects alone since he believes San-young will be harmed.
Hong-sae finds evidence to prove that Yoonjung is the killer and his colleagues get mad at him since he did their job. San-young returns to the photo shop to collect the remaining photos. In one picture she finds Woojin standing beside the hungry ghost painting. Earlier, she spotted Woojin at Hae-sang’s house and so she goes to the professor’s place.
Meanwhile, Hae-sang finds the owner of the line distribution (the one who made the spiritual tied ropes) and learns that Gang-mu previously received five of them. He shows a picture of his mother and asks the owner lady whether she has made such ropes for her. Surprisingly, the lady agrees to have made five ropes for his mother as she was introduced by Professor Gang-mu.

Likewise, at Hae-sang’s home, San-young meets with Woojin and interacts with him (he unlocked the door for her). She learns from him the name of the person who passed the curse on her which is her father Gang-mu.
Revenant Episode 6 Review
Another type of ghost is introduced in this episode and we find that San-young didn’t kill the influencer. In episode 6 there are various new characters and mysterious connections. We learn about Woojin’s father and Hae-sang’s grandmother. Woojin’s father Kim Chi-won is now a vice-president and it makes one wonder how did he get to that power position from being a gardener. Then, we can clearly see that Hae-sang’s grandmother is hiding something because she yells at her grandson when he enquires about the cursed objects.
Hong-sae is skeptical but after witnessing Hae-sang’s predictions coming true, he starts having second thoughts. Also, why did the evil spirit guide San-young to find the picture of Woojin? Maybe his father, Kim Chi-won is the bad guy since he is a powerful man now. Did he and Hae-sang’s grandmother kill Mokdan?

Also, how could have professor Gang-mu met with Hae-sang’s mother? Gang-mu and Hae-sang look the same age. Is Hae-sang way too younger than Gang-mu? Probably we will understand about it in the upcoming episodes. So far, the series has uncovered the identity of the evil spirit but more and more mysterious connections are provided so that in the final episodes, the viewers will have clarity.
