Ranma ½ 2024 Episode 10 Recap

The latest episode picks up right where the last one left off, diving straight into the intense ice skating showdown between Ryoga, Ranma, and their skilled opponents, Mikado and Azusa. Despite their best efforts, Ryoga and Ranma struggle to keep up since ice skating is far from their forte. Their lack of coordination and constant bickering only highlights their inexperience, leaving viewers wondering if Akane might have been the better choice as a partner.
Adding to the chaos, Mikado persistently tries to kiss Ranma while declaring his exaggerated, self-absorbed idea of love. Convinced that every girl is drawn to him, Mikado flaunts his delusions, claiming to have enough love to go around despite his flirtatious antics.

Amidst all the commotion, Ryoga and Ranma eventually manage to pull themselves together, but their teamwork is short-lived as they clash over Akane. The rivalry over who is more deserving of Akane’s affection creates further tension, especially since Ranma, though unwilling to openly admit his feelings, clearly resents Ryoga’s interest in his fiancée. While the dispute over Akane’s heart reaches a turning point, it leaves behind unresolved emotions and new challenges.
The latter half of the episode takes a dramatic turn with the introduction of another girl into Ranma’s ever-growing harem. This new arrival isn’t just another admirer—she’s a serious rival to Akane, bringing heightened stakes to their dynamic. To top it off, an extended kiss between Ranma and the newcomer leaves Akane furious, pushing her frustrations to new heights and setting the stage for even more drama.

Ranma ½ 2024 Episode 11 Review
Things are in a mess between Akane and Ranma as the new girl, Shampoo, is not only just clinging to Ranma but also kisses him in front of everyone. Shampoo is very forward with her love, and even when she understands that Ranma may not be interested in her in the beginning, her close proximity should change his demeanour one day.
Thus, she does not care where she is and what she is doing and tries to have as much physical contact as possible with him. This obviously does not sit well with Akane, and it becomes very apparent that she, too, has feelings for Ranma. The only way Shampoo stops kissing Ranma is when Akane throws a weapon at him. She also punches the hell out of a punching bag, which she designed in a way that resembles Ranma to showcase her annoyance about this whole matter.

But this does not mean that Ranma is in a very good situation, as the moment he turns into a girl, the same Shampoo who is kissing his male form goes absolutely berserk on him. On top of that, Ryoga considers leaving as he realises Akane is jealous of Ranma. He thinks she might never look at him as anything other than a pig, and thus he should leave. But in a roundabout way, he becomes the reason, which actually makes Akane and Shampoo some face to face for a fight.
In this episode, we also witness how Ranma indeed loves Akane and is just too proud to accept that fact. When he thinks that something might have happened to her, his main concern becomes her safety and nothing else. However, the way things ended with a cliffhanger made it seem more problems were going to arise.
Verdict

Today’s episode was again very entertaining and funny with all the random things happening. Now that we have another contender for Ranma’s heart, it will be difficult for Akane to stake a claim on him. However, one thing is clear both Ranma and Akane love each other, and even if a third party comes in between them, their feelings will remain the same.
