Pseudo Harem Episode 8 Recap

Our couple has finally made things official, and now they’re enjoying the aftermath of their heartfelt confession. While much remains the same—they’re still as sweet and playful as ever—their relationship has deepened, marked by moments of endearing fluster. Eiji has also shared the news with his mom, who is absolutely thrilled to welcome Rin as a new daughter-in-law. During a lively visit to his house, Rin shyly expresses her wish to hug him, but despite the initial step, their embarrassment prevents them from fully following through.

In the next scene, Rin and Eiji go on a date, both still wearing their school uniforms. This was Rin’s idea, as she wanted to savour one last date in their uniforms. The outing turns into a lighthearted adventure where they let loose and enjoy the day with childlike freedom. During this playful date, they even bump into Rin’s little sister, Aya. The interaction between Eiji and Aya is heartwarming, showing just how naturally good he is with kids.

After this Rin takes Eiji shopping. Everyone knows Eiji’s fashion sense could use some help, so he turns to his new girlfriend for guidance. What starts as a shopping trip also turns into a mini-date, and this is where they share their first real hug—initiated by Eiji. Knowing they wouldn’t be able to see each other during the weekdays, he just wanted to hold onto her a little longer, recharging himself for the time apart.

Pseudo Harem Episode 9 Review Taste Of Jealousy

Rin is not in a good mood because her worries as a girlfriend are keeping her awake at night. The last time she heard her newly made boyfriend was getting a bit too much attention and even got confessed to right after he moved to college. She is not at all worried about him cheating it is just that she is a bit jealous of the popularity of her beloved. And she lets her best friend Megu know about it.

But Megu is not even taking Rin seriously as she knows this worry is just temporary and even teases her friend a little bit. Even Rin’s sister teams up with Megu, and she too joins in on the fun. Thus, after suffering from these thoughts, Rin finally decides to do her own research. This is why, when Eiji invites Rin to come and visit him in the college, she readily agrees. They even decide to make Rin pretend she goes to his college.

Hence, after much preparation, Rin readies herself to face the world of college and run her own investigation. Is her boyfriend really so famous? If so, how many threats are there to get her man? But what she discovers from Eiji’s classmates is that Eiji is the same as before. He is weird and playful here as well and does the same old tricks with his friends.

Not only that, but tables completely turn when Rin showcases her charm at the college drama club. She acts with an actor and completely impresses everyone there. This makes Eiji realise just how appealing Rin is, who has the ability to charm anyone at any time. Thus, they both learn how they just love each other too much and even do minor family planning.
