Pseudo Harem Episode 6 Review: The 6th episode of Giji Harem or Pseudo Harem was as sweet as honey. So, without much ado, let us see how the 6th episode turned out.
Pseudo Harem Episode 5 Recap
This episode introduces a new character: Aya, the adorable younger sister of our lead, Rin. Aya quickly charms Eiji, who dotes on her as if she were his own sister, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere among the main characters. We also get a glimpse of a more relaxed, laid-back Rin, who just wants to be pampered by her senpai.
As the episode progresses, we enter the classic summer vacation mode, where high schoolers typically go out to enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, our protagonists don’t have any big plans, but they make the best of it by spending the vacation together. The episode first takes us to a summer festival, where Rin tries to keep herself and Eiji apart from their theatre club friends.

Rin and Eiji aren’t the only pair in this episode. When Rin and her family visit her grandparents’ town, we meet Shiro, a friend of Aya’s. Aya starts mimicking Rin’s behaviour in front of Shiro, who quickly develops feelings for her and becomes adorably shy. When Shiro asks Aya why she’s acting so coy, she innocently explains that she’s just copying her sister.
Pseudo Harem Episode 6 Review And Recap

Today’s episode starts with Rin acting as if she is transferring schools in front of Eiji. She looks pretty serious doing this kind of act and makes our hero emotional when he hears the dialogue that Rin might not see him ever again. Rin quickly assures him not to be so emotional, but she’s also happy that her acting moved her beloved so much. After that, we see a pretty funny bit where Eiji acts like a tree cause they couldn’t get a prop on time. Rin handles the entire act pretty well, but when the moment comes when she must cling to the tree and cry in the next scene, her resolve falls apart.
The next part is interesting because this time, Eiji will have to shoot an interview where he will ask a bunch of questions to the lead actress, Rin. Even though Rin is nervous about Eiji following her around and asking things like what is acting to her, she is enjoying this moment. Why? Because her Senpai can spend time with her even after club hours.

Later, we see another segment where Rin and Eiji are preparing for their school festival and spending the night at school. Both of them buy some dinner and head back to school, but this is where we discover another side of Rin. She becomes deathly scared of ghosts and even starts to loudly sing in broken English, which is cute and hilarious.
In this episode, we actually get to see many moments where our protagonists are much more touchy than when they first meet. Rin can hold Eiji’s hands without feeling embarrassed anymore and also can talk about topics that might have made her blush before. While shopping for dinner, Eiji actually asks her if she would make sukiyaki every day if they get married. And surprisingly, Rin did not freak out at that question. Later, she even boldly asks for a date with Eiji. To see how the date went, see the episode.

Verdict
This anime is really cute and just makes you root for the couples. There’s no complex storyline or intense character development here, and you should just enjoy it for the fluff. Even though you know what will happen, the interactions between these two will make you feel giddy and entertain you nonetheless.
