This episode begins, and it becomes clear that Hee-won was hurt that Doo-joon did not come to their baby’s check-up. Even though he let her know that he was caught up in something, he did not elaborate on the matter or let Hee-won know that his father fell ill. This is why Hee-won thought that Doo-joon was not giving her enough importance and became angry very naturally from his actions. Not only that, but she agrees to attend the checkup with Min-wook, something that gets witnessed by Doo-joon.

Because she was angry, Hee-won texted Doo-joon that he didn’t have to come anymore, and Doo-joon took it as a hint that she just hates him. Needless to say, because of this interaction, a very prominent disturbance happens between them. Doo-joon and Hee-won, who then start to avoid each other. Although they do not express their anger, their actions toward each other make it very clear. Doo-joon fails to concentrate on his meetings, and Hee-won constantly thinks about Doo-joon.

In such a scenario, Ko and Se-hyeon come to the rescue, who realise that both Doo-joon and Hee-won need to support their love. Thus, they devise a plan to bring these two together so that they can finally match up and forget about their fight. And that is exactly what happens, because they have a very fun time together, where they fall in love with each other even more. They realise that there has been some miscommunication between them, and Doo-joon even asks Hee-won to focus only on him.

In this episode, Min-wook also confesses his feelings to Hee-won, to which she asks for more time to give an answer. On the other hand, the romance between Doo-joon and Hee-won is growing at an exponential rate, where Doo-joon does not shy away from showcasing his interest in her. They also try to hide their feelings in front of others, but it becomes pretty apparent. Towards the end of this episode, Doo-joon tells Hee-won about his feelings truthfully.

Thanks to this, Hee-won gets a lot more time to reflect on her feelings and realise just how honest Doo-joon is about his love. But another twist happens where Min-wook gets to know that Doo-joon is supposed to meet someone for a blind date. He obviously lets Hee-won know about it, who breaks apart emotionally after hearing this. This obviously leads her to believe that she got cheated. Sure enough, both Doo-joon and Mi-ran had no idea that they were going to meet each other, as a result of a matchmaking process, and became completely shocked that their parents did something like this.

However, do not worry, the way things ended actually made their situation a lot better than before.

Positively Yours Episode 7 Review

I liked today’s episode and how it handled its love angle as well as heart-thumping moments. Though there is a lot of drama in this series, where tragedy often does not land very well, it ends up becoming a nice, heartwarming watch. I am definitely going to wait for the next episode, where we will see a proper development taking place between Doo-joon and Hee-won.
