Pandora Beneath The Paradise Finale Reactions is definitely not happy with the way the show ended in episode 16. Looking forward to a satisfactory conclusion for the lead protagonist, the viewers were left disappointed and moreover confused.
It (판도라: 조작된 낙원) is a Korean thriller action drama that brings the story of a woman who has to reach the top to protect her family. The K-drama is created by Kim Soon-ok and directed by Choi Young-hoon. Released on tvN and Disney+ the show aired from March 11 to April 30, 2023, which marked its final episode.
The cast of the series includes Lee Ji-ah as Hong Tae-ra, Lee Sang-yoon as Pyo Jae-hyun, Jang Hee-jin as Go Hae-soo, Park Ki-woong as Jang Do-jin, Bong Tae-gyu as Gu Sang-chan, Han Soo-yeon as Hong Yu-ra, Kim Si-woo as Pyo Ji-woo, Cha Kwang-soo as Go Tae-seon, Kim Su-jeong as Gong Ja-young, Kim Ra-on as Jang Leo and many others.
The show’s ending with Jae-hyun’s return is making the viewers baffled and confused, as it brings the show back to square one. Towards the end, we saw how Jae-hyun shot himself and then falls down the cliff and Hae-soo, Do-jin away are left in shock, in particular, Tae-ra as the man who just died was her husband.
Soon after, the show takes a leap into the future where Tae-ra and Jiu are being visited by Kyo-jin in Switzerland. Everything seems alright until he is alone in his room & reveals the scars from a lightning strike which is similar to the one that Jae-hyun got. Even the creators fade his face with that of Jae-hyun, leaving Tae-ra, viewers and everyone confused over how did he survive all that shooting & falling down shenanigans. Also, if it’s really Jae-hyun who got himself plastic surgery then why didn’t he get his scar covered as well?
This is making everyone question if this is a cliffhanger that will be explored further in the second season. While many are opposed to the idea of even having another season, even if it didn’t answer many questions. The creator of the show is famous for making such suspenseful dramas with various twists and turns but the viewers feel, this time might be a bit much.
On the other hand, fans of actress Lee Ji-ah were glad about her role and hopes to see her in another action-packed or even a romantic show lead, for her next project.
