Chun-hui’s only son Man-su has met with a tragic accident in Seoul and his wife has to take up two jobs to handle the home and hospital expenses. She leaves her daughter Eun-gi in Jeju with Chun-hui for some days. Older women start saying that Eun-gi’s mother has abandoned her because she has an affair with someone else. When Chun-hui’s son doesn’t contact her for a month, she worries if the women are right. She tries to find out the truth but can reach neither her son nor daughter-in-law.
