No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 4 Recap

The episode kicks off with Annette getting into trouble after falling victim to the magic of the original hero, Suzuki. Using his powers, Suzuki transforms Annette into his pet and casts the same spell on Tama. Just when things seem bleak, Ysha arrives, boldly declaring that the town will not succumb to Suzuki’s control. However, her threat falls flat as Suzuki unleashes his slaves to create chaos.
Sensing Suzuki’s vulnerabilities, Sensei sees an opportunity and expresses interest in him. Sensei and Ysha head to the church, where Suzuki plans to establish his stronghold. Ysha assumes Sensei has a plan to sneak up on Suzuki, but instead, Sensei confronts him directly. He tells Suzuki he wants to write a novel—not about his heroic deeds, but about a man who gained too much power and ultimately failed. Suzuki’s initial excitement turns to disdain upon hearing this.

An intense battle ensues between Sensei and Suzuki, leading to one of the episode’s most gripping moments.
Sensei is far from ordinary, possessing a deep understanding of humanity’s flaws. While he seems resigned to life’s harsh realities, he also highlights how a broken mindset often stems from a flawed society. Suzuki, who turned villainous in this world, was also dealt a rough hand in his previous life. Despite mastering his newfound powers, he realized the futility of his mission when those he was meant to protect turned against him.
No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 5 Review

Today’s episode was another one of my favourites because it gave us some very important information that made the whole plot much more interesting. This episode starts with a meeting between the four bishops and the cardinal, regarding some critical matters. These 4 bishops control each of the 4 divided places that surround the lair of the Dark Lord. Even though not much is happening in their area, and it has been fairly peaceful, things are starting to change for the worse.
Now that the Dark Lord has been defeated by the seven talented otherworlders, they have decided to claim the Dark Lord’s land and become its new rulers themselves. Not only that, but they have also openly challenged the Pope that they will now transform the lands of Zauberberg into their version of utopia. But they are not the only threats, apart from them, there are also numerous small-time otherworlders who have started to wreak havoc with the abilities they have been bestowed with.

On top of that, remember the girl who almost killed Sensei after finding out he was an otherworlder? Well, she is the daughter of the deceased Dark Lord, and she too, is out for vengeance. With so many warring factions, it is difficult to get a way out of such a situation.
However, that is when Ysha remembers that there is one person who can utilise his powers to send these otherworlders back to their own world. Hence, this is where Sensei becomes one of the most important characters in this world, even though his abilities might not be that good for combat.
But don’t worry, we were not devoid of comic moments. The addition of Nir, the big mouth, gives us ample entertainment in this episode. Plus, now that he too has become a part of Sensei’s team, we will see more of his escapades.

Verdict
Today’s episode was again filled with some great twists, which, honestly, I did not expect. I would like to see how Sensei will react to this new kind of development.
