You Are My Spring episode 11 recap

You Are My Spring episode 11 starts with Da-jeong getting yelled-at at work. Obviously, it’s a difficult time for her, however, she calls Young-do. They plan to talk later after she says that she has to work late that day.

In more serious news, Choi Sung-joon is at Chase’s apartment. If you remember, in the last episode, Chase got embroiled in an odd murder. He was possibly drugged, and then woke up to find Noh Hyun-ju’s dead body. So, now he’s at the police station and is possibly in a lot of trouble. Chase, being the man of science that he is, asks the police to first do a drug test on him.

Of course, the police don’t believe him and it’s not a big leap to think that they would doubt his story. The murder scene brings back memories for Chase though, and he has to think back to his past. Ko refuses to believe Chase’s rundown of events, however, they must collect all of the evidence before charging him.

As Park Ho talks to Da-jeong’s colleague at the hotel about Chase’s hand-wound in You Are My Spring episode 11, Sung-joon finds the hidden camera in Chase’s room. Ko interrogates Chase as to why someone would want to kill Noh but not him, although he was the one who was drugged. He further asks him why Chase moved into Choi Jeong-min’s old studio. However, Chase refuses to answer him and asks to talk to Young-do.

In the midst of a boys’ night, Ko calls Young-do to the station in You Are My Spring episode 11. He promises to meet him and later he calls Da-jeong and asks to have dinner with her the next day, which she gladly accepts.

Meeting Chase at the police station, Young-do asks him whether he was at Nanum Jeil Church. Chase says that he was, and also mentions that Young-do doesn’t remember his time there. Chase asks him that, if he was the one abandoned at the facility, would he have been able to say what he said in his dissertation (Chase was reading this on the fateful night). Young-do asks him whether he actually wants to know if Young-do understands him.

Chase reiterates that he hates Young-do and the latter asks him whether the incident from the bathroom 18 years ago falls within the memories that Chase hates. He says yes it does and Young-do answers that, even if he were in his shoes, he’d say the same thing. Young-do tells Chase in You Are My Spring episode 11 that he doesn’t need to blame himself for not helping him all those years ago because he will still help him. Chase tells him that he doesn’t need his help.

At this, Young-do gets up to leave and Chase asks him whether Da-jeong knows from whom Young-do got his heart. However, Young-do tells him that he won’t discuss Da-jeong with him. Chase looks a little confused and sad at the discussion.

We then go to Da-jeong, who’s getting ready for her date with Young-do. He’s running a little late because of the meeting and she decides that she wants to prank him. Which, funnily, Young-do figures out. He calls her bluff and tells her to rest at home and then surprises her. Well, Da-jeong is startled alright! Unfortunately, the restaurant that they decide to go to has a huge wait time. All the others too, are pretty full.

So, Young-do invites Da-jeong to his place, since everywhere else is full in You Are My Spring episode 11. After promising her that his friends won’t come over (he checked!), they finally make their way to his place. Well, more awkwardness awaits in the form of a package containing things meant to boost virility sent by Cheon Seung-won. Da-jeong is not amused.

Young-do stutters his way through introductions and formalities with Da-jeong, but as they are about to get comfortable, Seung-won comes over. Not knowing what to do, they hide, in the bedroom, only for Seung-won to figure out what’s going on. Well, the night obviously doesn’t go as planned, and as Young-do is on his way to drop her off, she gets a call.

Tae-jeong calls to inform her in You Are My Spring episode 11 that their father has died and they have to take care of his debts. He also tells her that their mother might have found out already. They both decide to go meet their mother the next day, and when Young-do tells her that he will meet them there, she asks him not to bother since it’s not a big deal.

Before getting inside their mother’s house in You Are My Spring episode 11, Tae-jeong tells Da-jeong a heartbreaking story about his father, which breaks her heart because she thought he was too young to remember anything. These emotional moments and the bond between the three are really nice to watch. They give the series the emotional boost that it needs, in between the twisty murders and stuff.

Young-do goes to meet Da-jeong in You Are My Spring episode 11 and finds her crying outside her house. However, he chooses not to say anything and drives back since she had asked her (too late) to not come since she wants to spend time with her mother.

The next day in You Are My Spring episode 11, Young-do has a medical emergency in the middle of traffic. He almost runs a man over and then struggles to walk on the road as the screen cuts to black. But don’t worry, he’s not dying as evident in the next episode preview.

you are my spring episode 11

You Are My Spring episode 11 has a lot of filler, specifically “funny” stuff that just comes off as goofy and doesn’t really leave much of an impact. We don’t see what happens to Chase after the first half an hour and I’m interested to know where that goes. Although I do like the emotional moments with Da-jeong, I’d rather watch Young-do role in the entire thing. With 5 more episodes to go, I’m still very unsure where You Are My Spring is going.
