Life’s a Glitch with Julien Bam is a comedy TV series created by Julien Bam, Shawn Bu, Felix Charin, Daniel Jacobs, Joon Kim, and Georg Ramme, and starring Julien Bam, Joon Kim, and Juri Padel, alongside other cast members. The series has 4 episodes, each around half an hour long.

Man, why are we getting so many movies and TV shows with YouTubers and vloggers? Don’t get me wrong, I love many YouTubers and I sometimes live for their videos. But good god man, I prefer them in smaller doses. I still haven’t forgotten the horror of He’s All That and I was not ready for more fresh hell. But, here we are.

Life’s a Glitch with Julien Bam features YouTuber Julien Bam transported to a parallel universe where he is not famous anymore. Imagine the horror. So, obviously, he wants to come back to his timeline. There’s a twist too, his “sidekick” is famous in this timeline so you know, that’s unfair!

Life’s a Glitch with Julien Bam is just so annoying. I am so done with YouTubers and Tiktokers trying their hand at comedy and being “influencial”. This just needs to end. I say that because the series is absolutely horrible to sit through. There’s nothing funny about it and I take offence that people are going to be subjected to it. The story is generic but weirdly annoying and it’s difficult to sit through it.

The plot is absolutely nonsensical and things are added to the mix just because. There’s no reason for them to exist or to reach our eyes, but here we are being subjected to stuff like this. Situations are added just to force a laugh out of us that never comes. It’s loud and stupid and if that’s the brand of comedy you’re a fan of, then this is going to be your thing, I guess.

Also, was the sci-fi twist necessary? The whole parallel universe shabang seems like a good idea in literally any other form of media. However, here, it seems like just another way for the protagonists to be stupid and for stupidity to exist in that universe.

Julien Bam seems like he’s going through some stuff while trying to make sense of the plot and the acting. He looks like he’s extremely out of place in this setting and looks awkward as hell. Joon Kim is the funny Asian guy who’s clumsy and a dork. You know, the stereotype. It’s an awkward watch through and through.

Netflix's Life's a Glitch with Julien Bam Review: Unfunny and Uninteresting 6

Life’s a Glitch with Julien Bam is an annoying watch that is neither funny nor interesting. There’s nothing to go on with this awkward series that really goes nowhere. The characters are uninteresting and the plot is too weak to hold on even 2 hours of its runtime.

Life's a Glitch with Julien Bam is unfunny and uninteresting and is a chore to sit through.

  1. It is important to mention that many of the jokes work only in german and only if you know the german youtube bubble. So I can understand that you dont get some of these jokes.

  2. So I am german and idk if you aren’t but that would make sense because there are a lot of/ the whole series is about german jokes and insiders. So if you aren’t german it would make sense that you don’t think it’s funny. And also it’s nothing new like Addison did. Julien got big with his extremly elaborate and youtube germany preaching comedy videos. Now he is just doing it on a bigger plattform than before and with a bigger production team behind his back.

  3. just pathetic review, it is a german show with german jokes he was in Master of Dance and has a lot of TV experience the fact you say quote-unquote: ” I am so done with YouTubers and Tiktokers trying their hand at comedy and being “influential” ” is proof enough that you watched the show with a mindset that couldn’t even allow you to think it could be good not only are you saying that some parts of the show weren’t necessary your also implying that every ytber has no chance to do any kind of good movies/series the only thing unnecessary is your opinion this post and the fact you think you have more experience with how to create a show than a professional actor like Julien
