My Troublesome Star Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 opens right after we left off last time, with Cheol promising to take care of Se-ra, much to her happiness. Meanwhile, in the entertainment world, Hui-yeong and Sun-yeong are horrified to learn that Se-ra is alive. When Hui-yeong comes back from Cannes, she is swarmed by reporters, and she gives them a speech that is exactly what Se-ra had said years ago.
In a surprising turn of events, Se-ra learns that someone is filing a case against her the next morning and immediately tries to get in touch with Cheol, but to no avail. Thankfully, she is able to get out of the stations without incident, thanks to her stellar acting! Either way, Cheol saves her from the overbearing mother, and the two of them reminisce about the past and Se-ra’s plans moving forward.

Armed with a renewed ambition, Se-ra decides to meet Tae-sook first, and although she doesn’t believe her at first, when she spills secrets about their past, Tae-sook immediately embraces her in an emotional reunion. The two catch up, and Se-ra confesses that she wants to get back everything she had lost and, with Nam-ju’s help, she gets a chance to prove herself once again.
Meanwhile, Cheol tries to piece the accident together and starts reminiscing about Se-ra, while she sobs, thinking about why she had to travel alone on the night she had the accident 25 years ago. However, there’s no time to lament since it’s time for her to get to her shoot location. She’s excited to get back to her life once again, but is bullied by the lead actress, who repeatedly slaps her. It’s heartbreaking to watch, but no one says anything.

But, like a knight in shining armour, Cheol arrives just in time to stop the madness and drags her out before she is slapped more. Everyone simply watches him in awe.
In the epilogue, we see Se-ra and her team arriving at a restaurant on their way to Seoul, which turns out to belong to Cheol’s family. The team has a wonderful meal together with hearts fluttering all around.
My Troublesome Star Episode 4 Review

My only problem with this drama is that it tries too hard to make present Se-ra too goofy. Why would a woman who has no money destroy a TV that doesn’t even belong to her? It sometimes doesn’t make sense. Either way, I am stoked to see where the series is going from here because the romance, mystery and drama are blending together seamlessly. Am I biased because I might or might not be falling for Cheol? That’s besides the point completely.
