My Happy Marriage Episode 3 is highly anticipated among fans. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

My Happy Marriage Plot
The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

The story will mainly follow Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo’s married life. Other supporting and recurring characters include Kaya Saimori, Kōji Tatsuishi, Yurie, Yoshito Godō, Arata Tsuruki, Kazushi Tatsuishi, Takaihito and others.

In the next episode, Kiyoka will attempt to find out more about Miyo’s life and how she grew up. He also tries to accustom to his lifestyle and provide her with the things that she did not receive earlier. It will be interesting to witness how the story will unfold in the next episode.

In the second episode of the series, she is seen in Kudou’s residence, adopting a new lifestyle. However, when she decides to cook breakfast for him, she faces his wrath instead, as he does not trust strangers. But after the helper assures him that she means no harm, he feels sorry for his actions. He was deeply troubled by his behaviour and regretted shouting at Miyo needlessly. When he returns home, Miyo apologises for her behaviour, and he accepts it right away.
The next day Miyo cooks an elaborate breakfast for Kiyoka and delivers it to his room. She remains nervous the entire time as she was worried if the food would be to his liking. Surprisingly, he ate the entire bowl and praised her cooking. The sudden compliment left her emotional, and tears started to roll down her cheeks. Moreover, he also notices that Miyo does not act like a person from a high-status family and tries to uncover the truth.
