My Happy Marriage Episode 2 Review
The second episode of the show continues with the story where Miyo starts her new life with Kiyoka Kudou. Although she is no longer staying with her abusive family, there is an unknown fear that still exists within her. After years of conditioning and making her feel useless, she is unable to see her own worth since she is devoid of supernatural powers.
Moreover, her mannerisms are completely different from daughters of a high-status family. Apologising is second nature to her and she does it every time someone is even slightly upset about something. Her hair, skin and clothes too showcase the condition in which she lived, nothing different to that of a servant.
Kudou is an exceptionally handsome man, to the contrary belief. Due to his occupation as a commander, he leads a strict lifestyle and is very disciplined. Naturally, he is extremely aware of his surroundings and does not trust anyone new he meets. He is suspicious when a new person is around him until they have proven otherwise.
Nevertheless, beyond the hard outer shell is a kind, gentle and understanding man. He is an insightful person who looks underneath a person’s exterior appearance and attempts to know their troubles and tries to solve them as well. Additionally, he values the people around him and does not take anyone for granted.

The creators have adequately done a great job of developing the characters massively. The audience will be easily able to connect with the characters and understand their worldview. Adding emotional depth and vulnerability to the characters has allowed the audience to relate with them at a deeper level.
Apart from the plot, the animation is another aspect of the show which stands out from the rest. Beautiful cherry blossoms surrounding the areas uplift the scenic beauty of the show. With intricate character designs, one can easily fall in love with them. In addition to bright colours, the usage of muted tones allows a contrasting picture without being too overpowering.

Final Thoughts
The second episode of the season provides an insight into the lead characters of the show. Kudou and Miyo are extremely different people and have different upbringings. However, they are similar to each other in many ways. Slowly and steadily, their relationship is improving as they grow more and more fond of each other. Moreover, the beautiful animation consisting of the breathtaking visuals will surely keep the audience hooked until the end, asking for more.
