My Demon Episode 6 Recap and Review: In the last episode, we see Gu-won becoming agitated over his feelings for Do-hee. He lashes out at her, but they are unable to fight their feelings for each other, more so because Seok-hoon also vies for Do-hee’s attention. In the end, when the stalker goes after Do-hee and almost kills her, Gu-won runs after her to save her. Will he be successful, though?

My Demon Episode 6 Recap

The episode starts with Gu-won making a run towards Do-hee after getting the emergency text from her phone. As he tries to stop her from falling off the building, the stalker swings his knife at him as well, and they fall off together. Thankfully, Gu-won was holding her arm at the crucial moment, and he takes them both to safety at the last moment. They hug each other, and this scene is witnessed by Seok-hoon, who has also rushed to Do-hee’s aid after getting the SOS text.

The three of them realise how the killer has been using different masks, and that is why no one can catch him; even Gu-won can’t use his powers because he doesn’t know his face. Seok-hoon then secretly tells Gu-won how he shares a special connection with Do-hee but gets an equally cocky response from Gu-won.

Seok-hoon then goes to Do-hee when she is pondering about the great danger she just got over and proposes to her so that she can become the chairwoman and escape this fate. Surprisingly, Gu-won also comes and proposes to her. But Do-hee neither accepts nor denies their feelings and asks for more time to think about it.

Later, we see Gu-won becoming agitated over the fact that Do-hee is not giving him a positive answer right away. He also gets jealous when Seok-hoon comes to visit Do-hee with a flower pot. Both the marriage contenders again face off at the terrace, where Seok-hoon tells Gu-won not to play with Do-hee’s feelings, and Gu-won assures him that he is not playing.

Later, Do-hee asks Gu-won as he is driving why he is proposing to her after rejecting her, to which he answers he doesn’t want her to die. After that, they both go to the factory inauguration of the Mirae Group, where everyone is shocked to see Do-hee. She openly tells her adoptive family her decision to get married the next day, and while she is leaving, she sees the killer as one of the factory workers. Later, we see Do-hee in a marriage gown, readying herself to marry one of her two contenders. And finally, we see it is Gu-won whom she chose over Seok-hoon.

But it is no ordinary marriage as they have contracted to dissolve the marriage after their individual goals have been served. Gu-won again gets jealous when he sees Do-hee talk to Seok-hoon after the ceremony, confirming his love for her. Do-kyung, on the other hand, comes off as very creepy when he sees Do-hee getting married. The killer, as well, is not happy with this outcome and decides to target Gu-won next.

Back in their house, Gu-won and Do-hee spend some cute and romantic but awkward time together, where they pine for each other’s company. Elsewhere, we see Seok-hoon trying to dig into Gu-won’s past by researching the Sunwol Foundation.

Gu-won again gets a glimpse of his past and remembers seeing a girl performing the sword dance, and then he wakes up. Later, he and Do-hee decide to tail Do-kyung, after Do-hee remembers feeling something suspicious surrounding their last interaction. They teleport to his dojo and listen to him thinking of killing someone. Then they see him going to the same storage locker area from where we have seen the killer communicating with Abraxas. But Gu-won and Do-hee almost got caught while hiding in the photo booth, and then suddenly Gu-won kisses Do-hee.

My Demon Episode 6 Recap and Review Do-hee Starts A New Journey With Her Husband

Too many good things happened in this episode to count. First of all, I never even thought Do-hee and Gu-won would get married and start to live together. I’m also very sure that the woman Gu-won sees in his past is definitely the past version of Do-hee. Apart from that, I am also suspicious of Do-kyung, but I believe it is too early to think that he is the final antagonist.

All in all, loved this episode, especially the last kiss they shared, and I would like to know what was going through Gu-won’s head when he initiated it. I have a feeling he did it so that Do-kyung wouldn’t see them together, but there definitely are some real feelings behind it. All in all, the moment between the leads is steaming up, and, on top of that, they share some great chemistry together, which makes watching this all the more interesting.

The series is streaming on Netflix right now.
