Netflix’s description of the film reads: “Based on the real-life friendship between Anne Frank and Hannah Goslar, from Nazi-occupied Amsterdam to their harrowing reunion in a concentration camp.” Netflix describes the film as intimate and emotional. The movie is based on Alison Leslie Gold’s novel titled Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend. As the title speaks for itself, it will be told from the perspective of Hannah Goslar, Anne’s best friend.

Who compromises the cast and crew of the movie?

The film is directed by Ben Sombogaart and, marks the first piece of Dutch cinema based on the life of Frank. The two main leads are Aiko Beemsterboer and Josephine Arendsen, who play the role of Anne Frank and Hanneli Goslar, respectively. The other cast members include Roeland Fernhout, Lottie Hellingam, Simone Canaris, Stefan de Walle, Adel Jordan and Tunde Szalontay.
