MobLand Season Finale Reactions

Harry Da Souza, a fixer, is hired by the Harringtons, a London crime family, to put an end to an escalating situation between them and the Stevensons that can cause an all-out war between the two gangs. However, as he starts to understand and rectify the different problems that arise throughout his tenure there, he realises that there’s much more to the situation than meets the eye.

The intriguing plot is made better by the unhinged characters, who make it more interesting. One X user wrote, @_whogoesthere: “An unhinged Pierce brosnan and Helen Mirren is prime time television.” All the characters in the series and their various crises are what left fans on edge throughout, wondering what insanity they will bring about in the next moment.

However, it’s the dramatic twist in the end that left fans scratching their heads and speculating what awaits in MobLand Season 2! One user wrote, If you’re not watching @MobLand_PPlus holy shit are you missing out. Season finale was epic. Paddy Considine is a shoe in for the Emmy. The scene where he confronts Conrad was brilliant-the acting & writing. Salute.” Considine and his character, Kevin, were the talk of the town thanks to his brilliant portrayal of a morally complex character. With the last twist being what it is, it opens up doors to what we can see in future seasons and fans debated on the impact of this revelation on the character.

However, maybe somewhat hilariously, fans couldn’t stand the sight of Jan, Harry’s wife. One user wrote, @rated_it: “Jan, do not piss me off girl…” Of course, that might somewhat make sense because Jan stabs her husband accidentally in the last episode, bringing the wrath of the internet on her! Others, however, pointed out that this showcased the layered and complex their relationship, highlighting a different side to the situation.

One user wrote, @TheRealBobboh: “Mobland just concluded its first season tonight. Sensational. Highly recommend.” The outpouring of positive reactions will definitely fast-track hopes for MobLand Season 2 in Paramount’s minds. Hopefully, they come up with something as sensational in the next season!
