When is MH370 The Plane That Disappeared Releasing? All About Netflix’s Upcoming Docuseries Based on a True Story

MH370 The Plane That Disappeared is the upcoming British docuseries premiering on Netflix. Directed by Louise Malkinson, the series will follow the incident involving the sudden disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 in 2014. It is scheduled to premiere in three parts.

The producer of the documentary is Harry Hewland, and Raw TV is the official production company. The total runtime of the three episodes will be approximately 50-55 minutes each.

An official cast list has not been released from the production company or the distributor yet. However, it is safe to assume that several experts like scientists, investigators, and journalists will be gracing the screen to share their expert opinions regarding the bizarre incident that shocked the world. The series will also showcase interviews with the victims’ families.

The creators aim to uncover the truth behind the tragic incident that occurred 9 years ago. The Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, operated by Malaysian Airlines, disappeared in thin air on March 8, 2014, along with the 239 passengers in it. 227 passengers and 12 crew members are now all presumed dead. The flight was supposed to land at Beijing Capital International Airport from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia.

After taking off, the crew was under the radar and in contact with the air traffic control (ATC). However, a few minutes later, the plane vanished from the ATC radar screens. The military radar was still able to track it for an additional hour, but it eventually lost contact after it departed the radar range.

The incident shocked the world and became a global investigation. Various theories from around the world started to emerge, including the possibility that The Bermuda Triangle exists. A few days later, shreds and pieces of the aircraft started to appear at the shore of the western part of the Indian Ocean. Many believed that the plane met with a tragic crash; meanwhile, some concluded that the pieces of wreckage were carefully planted. The families of the victims were distraught and demanded answers from the government and Malaysian Airlines.
