Melon Music Awards 2021: ENHYPEN, TXT and THE BOYZ to Perform at The Event?

Melon Music Awards 2021 is one of the most anticipated awards for this year in the South Korean entertainment industry. The event is organized by Kakao M through its online music store, Melon. This year marks the thirteenth ceremony in the show’s history, and overall the second to be held online due to the ongoing pandemic. Artists who have released music between November 11, 2020, and November 7, 2021, are eligible for Melon Music Awards 2021.

The latest updates on the performance lineup are keeping us in the loop for the approaching event. It has been already revealed that IU will be making her MMA return in 4 years with ‘Strawberry Moon’. There will also be Lee Mujin, Lim Young Woong, Heize, and M.O.M of MSG Wannabe for this year’s event. However, the most exciting news about the fourth generation boy groups from South Korea is what has pumped up the audience’s enthusiasm even more.

The K-pop leading groups: ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) and THE BOYZ are going to be a part of MMA 2021’s performing acts. It is an interesting and exciting opportunity for the boy bands and the viewers to witness them on stage. Now all awaits is the ceremony and the winners of the night!

In 2020, we saw BTS take away a total of 5 awards which included Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Netizens’ Choice Award and Best Dance – Male Award. We also had the popular girl hip hop k-pop girl group BLACKPINK win the Best Dance – Female category for their song ‘How You Like That’. This year Melon Music Awards 2021 will be held on December 4 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
