We are not going to be done with romantic comedies ever, right? Well, keeping that in mind it is finally time that the much talked about rom-com film Meet Cute now finally has a release date. Directed by Alex Lehmann and written by Noga Pnueli, this upcoming film is going to have a time travel twist!
Meet Cute is being produced by Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, Rachel Reznick, Santosh Govindaraju, Dan Reardon under the production company banners Weed Road Pictures, Convergent Media, Orogen Entertainment, Anamorphic Media and Sprockfeller Pictures. John Matysiak is the cinematographer for the film and it is being distributed by Peacock.
The latest rom-com will star a pair we have never seen before together- The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant famed Kaley Cuoco and the famous comedian and Bodies Bodies Bodies actor Pete Davidson. As odd as the combination sounds, this pairing makes the film all the more intriguing. The film is also said to star Deborah S Craig, Kirk Kelly, Sierra Fisk and Rock Kohli amongst various others.
The release date for Meet Cute has recently been revealed by Kaley Cuoco on her Instagram with brand new stills from the film. The picture’s caption read: “Our super cute ‘Meet Cute’ premiers on @peacocktv September 21st! Did I mention it’s cute? Enjoy the time travel ????”

Thus, the film is scheduled to arrive on Peacock on September 21, 2022.
The premise for Meet Cute has not completely been revealed yet. IMDb’s description of the film reads: “What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones’ past, heal their traumas, fix their problems, and change them into the perfect partner?” So far what we know is that the film will revolve around a character named Shelia who is going to be played by Cuoco. Shelia will discover a time machine and use it to help fix certain elements of a date she had with a man named Gray (Davidson) the night before to formulate the perfect love at first sight moment.
