Me Myself and SUGA Photo-Folio Preview: BTS’ Rapper Savours Solitude in ‘Wholly or Whole Me’ Concept Images

If yesterday brought us the Me Myself and SUGA concept film, then today brings us some refreshing image previews of the photo-folio set to drop in March. With this release, Suga or Min Yoon-gi’s Photo-folio will wrap up this project for BTS as the other member versions have already been revealed and gone up for sale on Weverse. J-Hope’s edition preceded the upcoming pictorial portfolio.

It’s indeed Suga’s world and we’re just living in it, as he’s also preparing to head out for his solo ‘Agust D Tour’, for which the American leg will commence in April, making him the first member of the septet to initiate the chain of solo tours. Coming back to the Photo-folio design, the concepts unveiled so far have been reflective of each member’s personality and artistic expression in one way or the other.

Me Myself and Suga concept

With Wholly or Whole Me, the focus is entirely on Suga rejoicing his time alone in a desert. If one set of images pit him against the picturesque environs of the location. A range of snow-capped mountains are spotted in the background, which further add a warm tonality to the landscape’s visual delight. In the remaining sets of pictures, the singer’s red-hair outlook takes the centre and grabs the fans’ attention.

The thematic tone of these photographs relate to a camping or glamping set-up, that instantly breathes in a breath of relief and healing. They make you want to set out on your own adventure that involves checking up on paper maps and driving through a rocky and harsh terrain, that still accords you with solace and comfort despite the bumpy ride ahead. One of the most memorable pictures of all has to be the one wherein Suga finds company with man’s best friend – a dog. With his arm around the dog, it makes for one of the softest visuals granted to ARMYs (fans of the group), who’ve already declared this union to be their favourite concept.

While these are mere sneak peeks into what will be included in the ultimate resulting photo book that will soon be put up for pre-orders on Weverse, there’s still a lot more to come that will be a merry surprise for us all.
