Luther The Fallen Sun is an upcoming action thriller film which revolves around a disgraced detective named John Luther, who tries to deduce a serial killer in London by any means possible. Notably, the film will be a direct continuation of the hit TV series which ran from 2010 to 2019.

The film takes the central character and the series in a bold new direction by placing Luther behind bars at the beginning of the film. Moreover, when a new string of murders occurs that resemble the traits of a serial killer Luther had been pursuing before his arrest, he realizes that he may be the only one who can catch the killer.

Desperate to catch the killer and put an end to the murders, Luther escapes from prison and goes on the run. Furthermore, the disgraced detective not only needs to evade the authority’s time but also know about the identity of the killer.

As evident from the trailer of the movie, Luther delves deeper into the case and discovers a string of unprecedented events related to the case. Followed by some encounters with a reprising cast of characters from the original series.

All in all, the film is a thrilling and entertaining addition to the franchise that takes risks and delivers a fresh and exciting take on the character and the series. Fans of the show will find plenty of excitement, while first-time viewers will be drawn in by the intense action, suspense and gripping storyline.
