After Seok Jiwon’s inauguration, the after-party leaves both him and Yun Jiwon lost in thought. The two can’t stop thinking about each other, and by morning, Seok Jiwon makes a bold decision—he’s moving into the teacher’s residence! Armed with his luggage, he arrives at Yun Jiwon’s home, which she shares with her grandfather, Jae-ho, and Mun-su, who is also moving in. Yun Jiwon, predictably, protests and bickers, but Seok Jiwon firmly explains his reasons, and Jae-ho, always the practical one, doesn’t mind. In fact, he’s delighted to “keep the enemy close.”

The household quickly turns lively as Seok Jiwon’s jealousy flares when he sees Yun Jiwon and Mun-su laughing and playing together. A game of rock-paper-scissors decides who goes grocery shopping, and naturally, Seok Jiwon ends up paired with Yun Jiwon. At the supermarket, their bickering resumes, but their playful jabs are layered with hints of their shared past. It’s clear neither has forgotten a single detail about the other. After a chaotic but oddly sweet trip, they return home with bags full of groceries.

That evening, Mun-su impresses everyone with his cooking. Seok Jiwon initially acts unimpressed but eventually devours the meal. Later, as he sleeps, a haunting nightmare takes him back to his younger self, waiting outside Yun Jiwon’s home in the freezing cold. He wakes up restless and irritable, but there’s no time to dwell—news of their cohabitation spreads like wildfire at school, delighting Su-a and enraging Ji-hye. The latter hides her jealousy but begins plotting in the background.

Back at home, Seok Jiwon and Mun-su’s silent rivalry escalates into a comical competition for Jae-ho’s approval. They race to do chores, each trying to outshine the other. Seok Jiwon even attempts to cook, only to fail miserably. Their antics amuse Yun Jiwon, but her heart skips a beat when she catches Seok Jiwon smiling during an iPad exchange. Even Ji-hye notices the lingering sparks between the two, fueling her frustration.

Meanwhile, Jae-ho arranges a meeting with the townspeople to discuss the impact of a proposed golf course on a heritage mountain. Seok Jiwon supports preserving the mountain but is caught in a tricky position because of his father, Gyeong-tae. True to form, Gyeong-tae stirs trouble by crashing the meeting and throwing a lavish party for the townspeople. Jae-ho confronts him, leading to a heated argument that Yun Jiwon and Seok Jiwon must defuse. Later that night, Yun Jiwon angrily confronts Seok Jiwon by the river, accusing him of siding with his father. Seok Jiwon defends himself, cryptically mentioning “three months,” leaving Yun Jiwon confused. Tensions rise, and they vow to avoid speaking to each other.

Their silent treatment creates an awkward atmosphere at home, forcing poor Mun-su to act as a mediator. Things escalate when Ji-hye plants seeds of doubt in Yun Jiwon’s mind about Seok Jiwon, but Yun Jiwon stands firm, declaring she knows he doesn’t lie. That evening, Ji-hye visits the residence, gets drunk, and tries to pair Mun-su with Yun Jiwon. Her antics cause chaos—Mun-su accidentally drinks strong alcohol and passes out, Ji-hye pukes everywhere, and Seok Jiwon ends up carrying Mun-su to bed.

Later that night, Seok Jiwon sneaks into the attic and finds a dusty box filled with photos of him and Yun Jiwon from happier times. When Ji-hye goes searching for her purse (strategically planted near Seok Jiwon’s room), she and Yun Jiwon catch him coming down with the box. In her attempt to snatch it away, Yun Jiwon slips and accidentally pulls down Seok Jiwon’s pants, leaving him mortified in his underwear. The next day, Seok Jiwon avoids leaving his room, too embarrassed to face anyone.
