Love Never Lies Poland (Polska) is a new reality game show that premiered on Netflix. Hosted by Maja Bohosiewicz, the series consists of six couples placed in a remote location where they will face the ultimate test of love. Malgorzata Mimi Majda directs the series alongside Ewa Grodzka and Dominika Roman. Piotr Radzyminski, Julita Brutus and Barbara Wlodarek produce the show.
The series was released on January 25, 2023, with six episodes lasting approximately 45-50 minutes. The finale has not been released yet. All the episodes have both English and Polish audio and subtitles.

Love Never Lies Poland: Episodes 1 to 6
I managed my expectations going into the show, yet it has disappointed me on a new level. The basic premise of the show is that the couples get to win a huge cash prize of 100,000 PLN, and the rule is to stay loyal in the relationships that they are already in. The only thing asked of them was to deflect the temptations and display basic respect for their partners.
The following day, the couples were divided and made to stay in separate villas. A handful of single and attractive people were introduced to the half staying at the big villa; meanwhile, the contestants at the small villa could only wallow in their deep thoughts. It was surprising to witness how easy it was for a few of them to forget that their significant others were just a few meters away.
Explicit sexual content is the basic element of the show. Uncomfortable revelations are also frequently added, involving their past that ruined many relationships. There was not a single interesting moment in the show; quite frankly, it was bland overall. The couples also seemed ingenuine, and their motives showcased deception.
The hilarious aspect of the show was the “technology” being used to test the participants if they were lying or being honest. The creators do not provide details about the equipment used to determine the contestants’ fate apart from the fact that the machine checks the eye movements to establish whether a statement is a lie or truth. Each time one says the truth, 2000 PLN is added to the prize money, and each time one lies, 2000 PLN is deducted.

Furthermore, the contestants are shown whatever their partners are up to in explicit video clips. The host baits them with a “basic version”, and they have to spend another 1000 PLN from the total prize money to view the “premium version”. Situations become messy, boundaries are crossed, and clearly, some are not meant to be together.
Love Never Lies Poland: Final Thoughts
The participants of the reality series should have gone to an extended therapy session rather than choosing a game show to rekindle their relationships. Nothing worthwhile happens in the episodes; it is filled with irrelevant drama and antics to keep the show interesting. The intimacy tends to become over-the-top, which often becomes excruciatingly unbearable. If you are bored and like watching futile content during leisure, feel free to tune in; otherwise, it is recommended to use your precious time wisely.
