Love and Leashes: Everything to Know About Netflix’s Upcoming Rom-Com K-Drama

Love and Leashes a Korean romantic comedy by Netflix is all set to release this Valentine’s week. This film will be a treat for all the young couples planning to spend the day interiors, safe and away from the Coronavirus. The film has been given an 18+ Restricted viewing by Netflix due to its subject as it will include violence and profanity. The popular streaming platform describes the film as witty, intimate and romantic.

Love and Leashes Cast:

The leading cast includes Seohyun and Lee Jun-young. Their characters are seen to have similar-sounding names in the film, which later plays a huge role in their sudden encounter. Seohyun pays Jung Ji-Woo and Lee Jun-Young plays Jung Ji-hoo, they are both seen working for a large corporation.

Love and Leashes Plot/ Synopsis:

The story of Love and Leashes circles around our lead characters who coincidentally have similar-sounding names. One day, Jung Ji-Woo receives a package that was actually intended for her co-worker Jung Ji-Hoo, but the delivery is mixed up due to their names. Later in the trailer, we get to see Jung Ji-woo opening the package and finding out a dog leash. Jung Ji-hoo later admits the secret behind the leash and wishes to use them for S&M purposes. He asks Jung Ji-Woo if she would become his master as he prefers to play the submissive part. Jung Ji-Woo accepts and they promise to have a three-month temporary relationship.

Love and Leashes will get a worldwide release on February 11 on Netflix. The trailer promises that the story will be an unusual romance with cute romantic moments shared between the characters with fun outcomes. Like at the end of the trailer, we see Jung Ji-hoo complimenting her shoes to which she says if he wants to be stepped on by them. Overall it will be fun for a casual viewing.
