Little Women (작은 아씨들) is a Korean mystery thriller drama that revolves around the predicament faced by three sisters. The story follows their journey after they find themselves in the midst of a major incident that changes their lives forever. Directed by Kim Hee-won and written by Jung Seo-kyung, the drama stars Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hoo, Wi Ha-joon, alongside other cast members.
The 12 episodes show premiered on September 3, 2022, and releases new episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST on tvN taking over the timeslot previously occupied by Alchemy of Souls. Little Women episode 12 has a run time of 82 minutes.
Netflix’s synopsis of the series reads:

Little Women episode 12 starts off with Hwa-young giving her testimony in court as she confesses that the ones behind the embezzlement were herself and Sang-a. She reveals everything related to the embezzlement and proves that in-ju has nothing to do with any of this, however, she does not reveal anything about her death.
In-ju’s verdict is not guilty, however, she is still punished with a light sentence because of the 2 billion won. Soon, In-ju is able to come out of prison and is taken to her aunt’s place by In-kyung and Jong-ho. There she is sent first and meets Hwa-young inside.
She is angry at Hwa-young and asks why she left her that money. Hwa-young tells her that she just wanted In-ju to live a peaceful life with that money but she never expected for In-ju to investigate her death. She only found out about In-ju’s involvement with everything when an orchid society newsletter printed a story of In-ju attending the festival.

Looking at that she knew that In-ju has become involved with Sang-a and followed her to Singapore to make sure of her safety. She tells her that during the accident, Sang-a had sent someone to follow her while Jae-sang sent the truck to kill her. It was Hwa-young who drove between the truck and the car to save In-ju.
She then told the semi-conscious In-ju to run from the hospital and later made her way to the apartment that was under In-ju’s name. However, when she saw Sang-a enter the place, she complained about the paper plan In-ju threw and fainted. By the time she was able to get discharged from the hospital, In-ju was already taken by the police which caused her delay.
After recounting all this, she tells In-ju that she never wished for her to be so involved with herself and hopes that she will mind her own business from then on. She now has a very important task to finish and hopes that In-ju stays away from it too. Before they can continue their conversation Do-il calls In-ju and tells her about In-hye’s whereabouts.
He asks her to leave with him for the Netherlands the very next day. When in-ju asks why he bothers so much with her when she does not even have the money with her anymore, Do-il just tells her that it has become a habit of his.
The same day, Hwa-young holds a press conference and reveals the truth about her death. She reveals that she had found a girl who wanted to die and had the same physique as her. The girl only wished to leave some money for her family and then for the next two years she and Hwa-young made sure to keep the same hair length and weight.
She then shows the media CCTV footage of her room wherein Sang-a breaks into her house and injects the girl, whom she thought is Hwa-young, with anaesthesia before hanging her in the wardrobe. She then put on her fur coat on the girl along with a pair of red heels and leaves after leaving a blue orchid behind.
In-ju, In-kyung and Jong-ho are also watching this conference at home and are shocked by everything that has been revealed. Hwa-young then tells everyone about her app from where they can download a soft copy of the slush fund ledgers that will prove the embezzlement.
In-ju remembers the time when Hwa-young was telling her about this app and told her that she will make it a trending app for sure. Now with this news, the number of people downloading the app to access the ledger has made it a trending app, just like Hwa-young had once said.
Sang-a has no idea what to do next, so she extracts the blue orchid drops and is ready to destroy everyone. The next day, In-kyung tells Jong-ho about her plan to visit Sa-pyeong to get the General’s memoirs so that she can complete her story about the Jeongran Society.
Elsewhere, Sang-a meets up with Sa-pyeong in the hospital room where her father is present. She asks Sa-pyeong why she was never given a chance to lead the Jeongran Society and if it was because she was a girl. Sa-pyeong tells her that this was not the reason, however, now he will take charge of the society and lead it according to the General’s principles.
The General suddenly goes into shock and a nurse rushes in while Sa-pyeong also makes his way there when suddenly, Sang-a injects him with the blue orchid extract. She has also drugged the General and tells the nurse to keep quiet and turns to leave when Sa-pyeong pulls her down.
He tells her that the reason why she was never given the lead was simply due to the reason that she was a crazy person who would never sacrifice herself for the society. Im-soo enters the room and helps Sang-a up who then gives her the order to hang Sa-pyeong where everyone can see him.
The scene then shifts to the aeroplane where In-ju is ready to leave with Do-il when she suddenly gets a message that makes her leave in a secretive manner. Do-il soon realises that something is wrong and finds out that In-ju has left.
Elsewhere, Sang-a tells a tied-up Hwa-young that she has called for In-ju to come here by threatening her with Hwa-young’s life. She believes that In-ju will come for sure while Hwa-young tells her that In-ju must have already left the country. She asks Hwa-young the reason why she did all this.
Hwa-young tells her that it is because of her casual manner during the time her mother died when Sang-a made her go on a business trip to Singapore. She remembers the used clothes and shoes that Sang-a gave her the next day as she laughed at her while she questioned her closeness with her mother.
It was then that Hwa-young decided to show Sang-a how close she was to her mother which made her do all this. Elsewhere, In-kyung makes her way to visit Sa-pyeong with Jong-ho when the two find him hanging in his office. Suddenly, a group of men arrive and kidnap In-kyung while Jong-ho tries to fight them off and follows behind In-kyung.
Do-il is making his way to the Park house when Jong-ho calls on In-ju’s phone and he tells him about In-ju. The two make their way there while In-ju makes her way inside the blue orchid room. There she tells Sang-a that she has brought a grenade with her which was given to her by Choi Hee-jae.
She threatens Sang-a with it but Sang-a reveals that the sprinklers in the room have had water replaced by hydrochloric acid which will kill them all in a painful manner. She was already prepared to die today because she has no fear after having already died inside.
In-ju tries to stall her and reveals that she knows that Sang-a is like this because she was the one who killed her mother. Sang-a is shocked by this as she recalls the memory when she tried to get her mother outside the room but because he mother was not ready to seek forgiveness from her father, she was pushed and hit her head on the desk.
She started bleeding heavily but she told Sang-a to run away and never reveal that she met her. Sang-a listens to her but comes back again later and this time she finds her mother hanging in the closet. Sang-a was left shocked but she changed her mother’s clothes into the best she could find and put on the prettiest pair of red heels on her.

In-ju tells her that her behaviour had always been trying to punish the little girl inside her who caused her mother’s death, but Sang-a snaps out of it and tells her that she has also called for In-kyung to come here. She calls Im-soo to know where they are when the sound of a car crash is heard.
Do-il is the one who crashed their car and fights off the men brought by Im-soo while Jong-ho too arrives and saves In-kyung. Do-il then rushes inside but Sang-a has already switched on the sprinklers and the acid is being poured on Hwa-young while the other two are standing under a shaded area.
Little Women Episode 12 Ending
Little Women episode 12 ends with In-ju thinking quickly and using the grenade to break the metal cap covering an underground system. She then uses it as a cover to save Hwa-young and helps her break free and rush to the shade. Do-il arrives right then and helps her take Hwa-young out when Sang-a rushes from behind and starts to fight In-ju.
During their struggle, Sang-a is pushed into the water surrounding the tree which has acid that slowly burns her away as she continues to drown in it. In-ju is shocked by what has happened and soon the scene shifts to the next day.
In-kyung finds a girl from Sa-pyeong’s school waiting for her who hands her the General’s memoirs. She finds out that the general turned this way because, during their mission in Vietnam, they found out that their government had sold their lives for money and they were supposed to die for the mission to end.
It was during their struggle in the deep forest when they came across the blue orchid to which they lost their souls. It is revealed that his grudge against the country was due to this very reason. With this information, In-kyung makes a successful story about Jeongran Society.
Elsewhere, In-ju sees off Do-il who says his goodbye and lets her know that they will meet again. On the other hand, In-kyung rejects a job offer to go to the States with Jong-ho as she finally accepts his love.
In-ju visits Hwa-young to make sure of her well-being and later gets a taxation mail that helps her know that her aunt had left the apartment in her name. She visits the place and remembers her aunt before finally breaking down as she remembers everything she lost during this time.
Later, In-ju and In-kyung discuss the apartment and In-kyung leaving for her studies. In-ju tells her that she will take care of all the expenses related to her studies because this time she wants to make sure that she gets to fulfil her wishes. As for the tax, she will take a loan to pay for it because she is unwilling to let go of her dream.
On the other hand, In-hye and Hyo-rin make their way to a bank with Do-il to withdraw the 70 billion won he had transferred into Hyo-rin’s account. It is revealed that he took care of them after they ran away and asked them for this favour.

In-hye finally gets to give back to her sisters as she had always wanted to. Transferring a portion of the money to both In-ju and In-kyung, she is finally at peace.
Little Women Episode 12 Review
The Little Women finale has to be one of the most peaceful ones out there, however, this also comes with our frustration because the In-ju Do-il shippers are not satisfied!
The finale episode has given us the perfect amount of thrill and I am happy to have had a crazy Sang-a until the end. Though I never expected her past to turn out like this, it is quite something that In-ju was able to find out about this so accurately.
Seeing Hwa-young care for In-ju just as much as she cared for her this whole time really melts my heart. However, watching Do-il run for her safety time and time again right until the end is what really makes me smile and scream out loud for these two to just get together.
I have to say, their shippers are completely disappointed because there was absolutely nothing that we gained from them. However, In-kyung and Jong-ho have soothed our hearts with their little exchange.
However, the biggest plot twist of today’s episode has to be In-hye. She has completely been whitewashed in today’s episode by proving that she wasn’t ungrateful to her sisters but just felt indebted. Now that she has finally returned to them what she can, she is at peace and will soon find her way home.
Altogether, I’m happy how this show has continued giving us twists and turns until the end while bringing peaceful days for everyone.

I have no words , I was expecting that may be in jo and do il be together in the end , I am disappointing with their chemistry ???? , although this chemistry is also good but I was expecting something else ????????
You know what everything else was great! But I wish they showed a scene where do-il and in-joo finally met again peacefully this time with no running away or escaping to save someone or look for someone. Or maybe I should have not just expected that to happen at all since this is a mystery thriller drama pft. Being an In-joo Do-il shipper is so frustrating huhu.
They just skipped the part where Injoo was supposed to get her jail sentence and showed really minor burns on Hwa young after so much acid fell all over her body! I am happy for the three sisters but Choi Doil and Injoo should have left together. That would have made more sense if they were planning to skip the jail sentence part.
The money was not In Hye’s to divide up. I hate the ending. Why is In Hye being potrayed as magnanimous for doling out money that is not hers. She doesnt have any right. Choi Do Il was just temporarily storing the money in her friend’s account for safety. In the end In Hye even gets to pocket a part of that money coolly even though she doesn’t have ANY rights to the money.
