Lilith MV: BTS’ Suga and Halsey Summon Hell in the Diablo IV Anthem

One of the most anticipated K-pop collaborations has dropped in the Lilith MV. Featuring two of the most prolific artists, including BTS Suga and Halsey, this collaboration has been an ongoing demand in both their fandoms since the first collaboration the band had with the artist. While the last time was a group collaboration, this will be the first collaboration for the If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power artist with a solo K-pop artist.

The video is an anthem for the game Diablo IV. While the themes from the video clearly show that it is about the devil. The video, however, focuses on the biblical character Lilith. The song is also about the same, especially with the rich lore about this character. Obviously, the deep red is a recurrent theme in the video, but the thing that really makes the whole video interesting is the fact that the artist seems to be going against the very forces of the almighty.

Meanwhile, Suga has been tasked with delivering one of the hardest-hitting bridges ever, and he does with a kind of effortlessness that is truly envious. He is singing in English, moving away from his comfort zone and creating a bond with Halsey even though they’re not even in the same frame together. It is clear that their chemistry shows up even in the video. Even though this is Halsey’s song, featured on the If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power album, this version of the song will definitely stick in the collective psyche, unlike before.

Fans were incredibly excited to see a project this big involve two big pop stars, especially the BTS star who has been creating his own footing in the Korean pop industry by showcasing his skills as a solo artist. This collaboration is not the first between the two artists. The K-pop artist was also featured on their album Manic, with a song titled SUGA’s Interlude. The fascinating visuals, lighting, cinematography and lyrics are so indicative of the theme that the visual experience is truly stunning, pushing anyone to groove to the beats of this song.

The band has always shared that they had the most fun collaborating with Halsey on Boy With Luv. However, since then, they have collaborated with big artists, including Megan Thee Stallion, Charlie Puth, Snoop Dogg and many others.
